We usually come here quite often and enjoy a cheap, tasty feed but not tonight. My dad was FURIOUS…read morewhen they removed the king avocado schnitzel off the menu. We ordered Steak,Pizza and Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken had a side of hollandaise and it was disgusting. Steak came out cold and slightly over cooked, can you blame them tho? we did wait an extra 40 minutes after the pizza and chicken had came out,we had to ask someone to retrieve the steak, who knows how long it would of taken if we didn't ask. Plus the service was horrible. Meals came out 25 minutes apart minimum even tho we ordered at the same time. Staff is lovely though,We cannot remember the name of the red haired bloke who said goodbye on the way out but he is by far the nicest member of the ob. Hoping this review can help them benefit for the better. #bringbackthekingavoschnitzel

You order at one bar and then pick up your food at another. It's very DIY here, no servers. The atmosphere is very much child-friendly-pub style, with a playground and even a jump house for kids (not sure if that's always there or if we came on a good day). Lots of families were around, parents having drinks while their kids chased each other outside. The wedges we got came in a huge bowl. We got a much bigger serving than I expected, which was nice since it ended up being dinner. The service wasn't bad but it wasn't super friendly. There isn't anything terrible about this place, but there isn't anything really great about it either.

And I was ironically made aware by a previous reviewer on Yelp that it can be noisy on a Saturday night but didn't know it would be this insane. Even for a sleep deprived heavy sleeper who quickly went to sleep on around 9pm around when the party started. It's just impossible to stay asleep during such loud beating music with a crowd constantly group chanting the lyrics loudly and going "wooh". If you're a party animal who goes to sleep late on a weekend, maybe this is a big plus for you. But for me who just needed a place away from home, to sleep on Saturday night. I do regret coming here as it's literally like trying to sleep in the middle of a loud concert blasting into your room. Why am Iam even paying for this? To be fair, the staff was quite polite and straightforward and the room does have air conditioning and also some of the softest (probably bamboo fabric) blankets. It's a relatively good quality comfortable room if you forget about the noise on the weekend. And I only stayed here for Saturday night so maybe it's not always like this during the weekdays, but I wouldn't know. If you want to sleep well and it's also Saturday night. Only come here if you're actually willing to tolerate a booming noisy atmosphere from 8pm to 2am. Which they also really ought to warn you about.

They have done a lovely refurb and the pub is now very trendy. They have a DJ on the weekend and…read morethe food is good.

It's a big pub with a large indoor dining area and bistro, outdoor beer garden and TAB facilities. It's recently seen renovations with leather couches, hip stylish cushions and some cool art. Soon to be We enjoyed lunch in the bistro and found the menu to have a good range of entrees, burgers, pizza, salad and sides. The Szechuan Pepper Squid the ideal stater, the squid nice and tender, with a light and slightly crisp batter, the dish nicely seasoned with Szechuan Chilli and coriander, this also comes with aioli and a lemon wedge which add even more flavour. They also have lunch and dinner specials highlighted on the board. We were impressed with the lunch special, a steamed barramundi parcel, flavoured with lemon and chili and it was cooked perfectly. It was served with green beans and crispy chat potatoes. We also loved their house crumbed buttermilk chicken schnitzel and you can select a few different toppings. We opted for the Parmigana, the schnitty affectionately known as a Parmi, everyone's favourite. The Settlers version was a solid portion of succulent juicy fried chicken, topped with a tasty Napoli style tomato sauce which was covered with some quality melted mozzarella cheese. This was a quality pub feed indeed. This, and all schnitzels come served with your choice of chips & salad or seasonal veg & garlic mashed potato. As a side we shared a salad - the Warm Pumpkin, Fetta & toasted Walnut Salad - complete with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado, dukkha, tossed in garlic vinaigrette. This is a gluten free and vegan dish but you can add chicken or squid to it. The flavours on this were lovely and it was presented well too.
