For six weeks this is where I got the only decent coffee in the area each morning. Many mornings we enjoyed a breakfast worthy of any of the best cafes in the big cities. Even Jimmy's take-a-way lunches came in handy when I need to take one to work. But dinner...! That was the surprise. No, it's not a fancy restaurant and this isn't fine dining so let's not get carried away. This is a cafe by day, so it's the same by night but with food to surprise. Leaning on Jame's Italian heritage (yes, he introduced himself to me the evening I was there) the fare has some of that ethnic bent but it's very much a fusion menu.

So the choice is you can make my coffee correctly for an extra charge or you can give me a diluted cup of warm milk?? This sets the real idea of the cafe, that they do no know anything about coffee. My husband and I used this coffee shop every day when commuting at 5/6 am when nothing else was open, but the coffee is so inconsistent, one day I could tolerate it because otherwise I would fall asleep at the wheel but after that it was too much. The coffee is watery, weak and never made correctly. Most likely because it is badly managed you have a person taking orders who also prepares food so when she is off in fairy land the barista is taking coffee orders with one hand and making them with an other.. May I suggest that they try one of their large coffees and see that it's an art form and if they did it properly they may actually make some money or customers?

When I arrived with my guests we were told the area was under construction and wouldn't be available. Instead, we were put at an unprepared table. We also brought a cake for the function that we requested to be refrigerated. We confirmed that this would be okay in advance and still the cake came out melted and unrefrigerated. Surf and turf over $50! Parking is limited. Lunch = $140 for two adults and 3 children, self serve. I can't say much about the staff as I wasn't able to talk to anyone as they avoid you on the balcony, unless they clear tables to make room for more money...I mean customers. No atmosphere, no music on and nothing to keep the kids occupied. Has not improved since Iguana Joe's days. I'm cannot justify coming back. Better off eating fish and chips at the park adjacent.

The view here is lovely and the drinks are cheap, so why oh why did I mark this only 4 out of 5? Well my friends who have children ordered the childrens meal which comes with ice cream. They asked for the ice cream about an hour after dinner, and were told that there was no ice cream left. We'd only been able to control the kids with the promise of ice cream. The girl did not seem to care and offered us the dessert menu. There was nothing offered to replace the ice cream either. Other than that I think the place was great.

Stumbled across this place when i was upgrading my truck license at Highway driving school just…read morenext door :) Initially walked straight past it for coffee at the Factoria and it only caught my eye on the way out :). They only open thursdsy through to Sunday from 5pm - 10pm, pretty decent hours for a late night appetizer :D!! The menu is at the front of the shop making it nice and easy to see what's on offer :). They had the Philly cheese steak rolls, loaded Hot dogs, loaded and plain fries and deep fried oreos :) I opted for the mushroom Philly cheese steak, love mushrooms haha!! Also got the the Philly hot dog which was a schnitzel crumbed Vienna hot dog and then deep fried .. :D, got chips and a drink with the deep fried oreos as a no brainer to order haha !! 2 mates both got the Philly cheese steak roll meal aswell & an NY Hot dog with a serving of deep fried oreos each aswell :). It was a cool lay out with libe American football on the TV to the left of the counter, 2 wooden bench table for seating, a small table ro the right of the counter with sauces/pickles to add on and a drum fire in the centre to warm up :), slightly 10 times better than those crappy tall gas heaters you see at all the restaurants everywhere these days haha The Cheese steak rolls were big and cheesy and on the tasty side .. wasn't on the hard side to scoff it down before you thought about taking it slow haha.. the hot dogs were on the average side but still not bad tasting but if i went back i would just stick to the Philly cheese steaks :)!! Last but not least the deep fried oreos, they weren't ready when we got our meals handed to us but they were conveniently ready when we had finished eating so it was perfect timing :). Is what a perfect amount of Batter on the oreos and it xame with oreo ice cream aswell :). My highlight of ths night was definitely the Oreos :D!! This place definitely kicks the butts of the majority of try hard Ameican places that have opened up in the city. The quality for the city places gets lost in trying to be the best when this place has a basic menu, the food qaulity is on point and for it being in a semi industrial area with the exception of a cafe and Italian restaurant beside it, it still got younger and older crowds, also a few families coming past for the cookies :D Also the people who were working there were super friendly and helpful :D!!
