We're haunted house junkies and have been to around 20 in NC & SC. We drove 2 hrs for this one just…read morebecause of their "rated R" experience. This place was hands-down the most fun we've EVER had at a haunted house, period. For those wondering just "how" scary is this place and just "how much" do they touch you, I'll give you my impressions. This place deserves major props/respect for how unbelievably professional everyone is! I never felt like I was grabbed in a 'mean' or 'hurtful' way. This isn't a "Saw" movie, drag-you-off-and-lock-you-in-a-freezer type place. Think more like a big brother messing around with a little brother. Yes, they'll grab you, pull you, push you, etc. but it's honestly done completely professionally. There's a fine line between grabbing someone to hurt them and just wanting to scare them, and every single actor/character here was absolutely well on the professional side of that line. Is it scary? Oh yeah! But it's not meant to be a hardcore, "mean" experience. There are other haunts out there that do act kinda "mean" as part of the fun, and Sweet Dreams does have mean-looking clowns, and chainsaws, and clowns with chainsaws, etc. ... but no one ever acted "mean". While still not really appropriate for ages 12 and under (13-14 is probably pushing it for many people), it's completely fine for any adult (and even for +15). There is a "PG-13" rated option where they don't touch you and even for those who get the "R" rated version (which comes with a glow-in-the-dark necklace to help them identify who they can grab and who they can't) you can still take your necklace off at any time if you feel it's too much for you. (my advise, try the "R" experience, it's likely the best Halloween decision you've made since you were 8). This place, with the added excitement of being grabbed, was honestly the absolute most fun we've ever had. And we weren't the only ones who thought this. While standing in the entrance line, two different groups of people came up to the ticket lady and said nearly the same thing as what I've written here. In fact, they may in fact be starting a new standard in haunted attractions and in a couple of years, an "R" rated experience may be the norm. What's EVEN better, in our opinion, is the very personal nature of the self-guided walk. The night we were there, they were letting groups as small as 2 go through - that means you don't have to be bunched together with 6-8 other people (like most attractions) and this adds 1000% more to the experience. you simply don't miss anything! It's all for you. The drawback is the wait can be kinda long, so try to get here before 9pm for a 30min wait, or come after 10pm and you might be faced with an hour wait (totally worth it though so bring a sweater and enjoy their awesome live DJ). Snacks, beverages, bathrooms all provided. The total time to go through is about 30min and we never saw one other customer inside the attraction the entire time - it was the 3 of us and the actors - that's it! We came out horse, out of breath, and sweating. Awesome, awesome fun! Totally worth the drive. Great job Sweet Dreams - you may have changed local standards forever!

The actors and location is amazing, I would highly recommend. I do wish it was longer but it's very…read moreworth it. I even cried a little as the actors really did a great job.

Nicole and I visited Madworld on Saturday, October 17, and had a really good time. It was PACKED…read more The parking lot was full, so we parked along the road and had a short walk to the entrance. We waited roughly an hour and a half, maybe a little longer, without a Fast Pass. The actors were easily the highlight. Even in line, they were sneaking up on people, interacting with guests, and keeping everybody entertained. Inside the haunt, it felt like there was a live actor in almost every room, sometimes several. The walkthrough took us about 30 minutes, and the dollhouse section really stood out. There were some bottlenecks, but they didn't ruin the experience. We made a whole night of it with mini donuts, drinks, the fire pit, and Ghost Town mini golf. The apple cider donuts were my favorite. Mini golf had fun theming, but at $15 a person, it's something I enjoyed trying once rather than something I'd necessarily repeat. My biggest wish would be permanent bathrooms instead of porta-johns. Food lines were also long that night, so bring some patience on a busy October Saturday. Overall, I thought the haunt was absolutely worth the $42 admission we paid. The actors put a lot into it, and the atmosphere outside the haunt adds to the night. I would definitely go back, and next time I'd look into a Fast Pass. Full Review Here https://youtu.be/KXQzZn4w3Ys?si=QEyKsxsc5bqJJ8e3

My only critique is that it could use a bit more genuine scare factor. It's more fun and theatrical than truly frightening. Still, it's a solid experience and definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a good night out with friends.

The scares our awesome. I cannot say enough good about this place. If you want to go to one of the best Haunts out there you owe it to yourself to go to the haunted farm. You will not be disappointed. The rooms are incredible and the actors are spot on. This year's farm is better than any that we've been to. Will definitely go back before the end of the season there's just so much to see. This place has grown so much and every year never disappoints. We have to say it is our favorite!!!

Very haunted Haunted Farm!…read more We visited this attraction in NC over the weekend and it was such an awesome experience. A farm transformed into a long, immersive experience with detailed sets, impressive animatronics, and professional costumes and makeup. I was so impressed by the amount of details that went into the sets, costumes and props. As usual for an attraction like this, we waited in line for about an hour and a half. The actors took turns walking the lines and interacting with us. They also had a live band to entertain us as we waited. The experience itself lasted about 40 mins. Totally worth a visit!

The tension build up before you actually walk the trail was a lot of fun too. My only complaint would be annoying young teenagers in large groups by themselves, but you just kind of have to expect that with haunted attractions. They did a good job of spreading us out so my friend and I did not have people on our heals or spoiling the scares the whole time. Be sure to wear good walking shoes and ones you don't mind getting a little dirty. Also, is a trail so be aware of roots and such as you walk in the dark. The theme this year was creative and I look forward to what they do next year.

Unfortunately I tripped over a lot of tree branches and almost fell~this is not for elderly or people with visual problems. Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty cause my shoes and pants were both dirty afterwards. This has tons of potential if only they doubled the amount of actors because they wasn't enough trying to scare you although maybe they are afraid if they do you will trip and fall over the tree branches?? Staff was nice and line flowed seamlessly. The story telling and buses made it seem realistic. My niece loved it so that's all that mattered
