Acme 62 is such a gem tucked along that eclectic stretch of shops on 29 Palms Hwy in Yucca Valley…read more-- the kind of place you walk into "just to browse" and suddenly wish you had more trunk space on the drive back to LA. From the moment you step inside, the whole space feels effortlessly chic and inviting, almost like wandering through a beautifully styled desert living room. The decor pieces, furniture, and housewares are thoughtfully curated -- elevated, artistic, and full of personality. My fiancé and I had a great time exploring every corner and imagining what would come home with us... and of course we couldn't leave empty-handed. We picked up some amazing incense paired with a pottery ash catcher, I love that it looked handmade but yet refined -- exactly the kind of unique find you hope for in a specialty shop. What's cool about this store is that everything feels intentional: well-designed, desert apropos-- it gives a feel of local handicrafts not mass produced. Stylish without trying too hard, cool without being intimidating. If you're wandering through Yucca Valley and love design, home decor, or just beautifully curated spaces, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

So as I cannot attest to her actual cleaning abilities, she does earn a few stars for creativity,…read moreas every excuse was something very intense and creative. We tried to hire her to help organize and unpack our home we just moved into. First red flag was 2 days in a row she gave an excuse as to why she could show up to do a walk through and estimate after missing our originally set appointment. Second red flag on the 3rd day she was still coming with the wild excuses, but then started requesting a deposit be sent. (Which feels very scammish) 3rd red flag was even after I met with her in person and discussed the job ( I had to goto her) she quoted she would price it around the $500 range. Which would have been fine. But we still wanted the walk through. Then after she finds out that we are finically well off all of the sudden her bidding person who does her job bids for her ( which happens to be her mother ) tells her to take no less than 1200 or more for the job. Convenient doubling of the quote soon as she figured we could easily afford it and knew we were in a kind of situation where time was of the essence. She also shared with me all kinds of reviews which looked to be from yelp but are in fact not seeing as im the first to review her on here. Then looking closer at her reviews I see Robert S. Who I happen to know very well. And come to find out all the reviews are in fact fake profiles made by himself for her as a part of a side deal/transaction they made. All in all after an entire week being wasted waiting day after day with excuse after excuse she never could show up tobeven do a 15 minute walk through. Im appalled by the lies and deceit that went in to her pitch to find out they are all false. And even more disgusted at such poor business ethic. Avoid this company at all cost.
