We, like many others, had our grand wedding plans dashed because of COVID and we had to make a few adjustments to dates and other facets of the wedding. We never even re-thought our floral arrangements (ha) because Julie was every bit as flexible as we needed her to be. Since there were so many rescheduled weddings, she had her hands quite full leading up to and on the day of our wedding and she was still able to deliver amazing floral arrangements the day of the wedding that looked incredible and lasted for days afterwards! They were just the right touch for our ceremony and reception and I cannot believe how great they looked in all pictures taken at the wedding - both professional and amateur. What's more, Julie also voluntarily offered us a credit for the delivery of our flowers when she realized that our new wedding venue was not as far away as our old wedding venue. John from The Blossom Shop was kind enough to reach out to me this morning and alert me of my mistake. It feels like a scam and probably not a real place. Ordered birthday flowers on Sunday, 5/23/26. Received tracking information stating flowers were delivered but they were not. The customer service person "Mitch" but me on a long hold so she could speak to her manager. When she returned, she said all she could do is give me a $5.00 off credit. I asked to speak to the manager. She claimed to be the manager, so who was she speaking to? I will be disputing the funds with my credit card company. Do not purchase from this place. It's a scam.

We contacted The Blossom Flower Shop to order flower arrangements for an unexpected family funeral…read more We requested specific flowers in honour of the deceased, and the florist quoted us a premium rate which we accepted. But when we went to pick up the flowers, I was shocked to discover that, while two sidepieces were serviceable, the central arrangement was completely different from what we had discussed AND the reference photos we had sent. Not only did the florist try to pass off different, cheaper flowers to us (while keeping the premium rate), but many were also WILTED. When I pointed this out to the owner, he had the gall to deny it while standing next to the bunch of old flowers. The owner had also completely changed the colour scheme we had requested, as HE felt it was inappropriate for OUR occasion and he knew better than us. When we asked him to honour our requests which he had accepted, the owner protested that we had only given them a short lead time for the order -- a funeral order for a SUDDEN death in our family, which we had explained to him off the bat. The deceased's daughter was with me and almost cried! The insensitivity and selfishness was astounding. I still cannot believe how much the owner of the Blossom Shop bungled our order, but, more than anything, I am shocked at how rude and incompetent he was -- and at a time of intense grief for us. Any families suffering bereavement should beware of the Blossom Shop, as should any happy couples considering it for their weddings -- unless they are comfortable being told how they should celebrate properly and taking whatever flowers he deigns to give them, in whatever shape he says they are.
