Found inside the Hotel Portavescovo, The Stube is a bar on the gorund floor frequented by most of the younger locals. It is also a popular spot with holiday makers, particularly in winter. It is a large bar with several seating areas which is mainly a wine and beer type place and not so big for cocktails. They always have music TV playing so if you get sucked into watching it easily like me sit with your back facing it. The bar staff are efficient if not a little under friendly although Willy who runs it is worth a look at just for his huge moustache and his inability to smile (so don't upset him.) That said the place always has a nice atmosphere and you feel like you are in a locals place. The wine is cheap and good and the beer isn't too much more expensive. Well worth a visit if you are in the village. read more
