I arrived after 4pm and your worker told me that the store would be closing in 45 minutes & i acknowledged it as I was browsing for specific items. She then seemed more agitated and let other customers know that she would be closing the register earlier than she had told me. I am shopping here because my funds are limited and wanted to see if they had something specific for back to school and was rushed to pay as she was closing the register and the store at 4:30. I showed her the email and she said that there was a sign on the door, which she put on after I had arrived that was a handwritten "closing at 4:30" when the printed sign clearly said 5pm. I literally got the email for new store hours at 12:08 pm today so was surprised and upset that I was rushed out of the store along with other shocked customers. Times are tough and their prices may be lower, but I'm sorry to say that they lost a customer because I wasted my time & gas to drive there only to be rushed out and not find the item my child needed as their shoe selection was limited for my daughter's size. I will not be coming back because the experience was negative and I feel like their email advertising for longer shopping hours didn't align with this specific employee & unless they do something to train them in customer service then you should be warned before shopping here.

The store was completely picked over--bare shelves, no stuffed animals, but a plethora of overpriced leotards and dance-like costumes. I guess somewhat understandable, but still disappointing. My daughter left extremely saddened. The second time we came (and also *paid* for parking), we walked to the entrance to find it--CLOSED (6/9/26)! I had to whip out my phone because why would a store be closed on a Tuesday at a day and time of normal operating hours? Another family with a little girl asked if we came to see the store and I said yes. She said they posted on their Instagram they were closed and were also saddened they couldn't go inside. I get that things happen but we live 1.5 hours away and made a dr specialist appt nearby and made sure to stop here specifically since we were finally close. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is. I don't go on social media to make sure a business is open that day. I *did* check their website and they were supposed to be open. From what we saw the first time around (picked over items) and what we could see through the glass the second time, we won't ever be coming back for a third time. The store is small, not a huge selection, but a higher price point for the same items found elsewhere. I told my daughter if she saw anything through the glass then I would just google it and buy it online for her. I would much rather support small businesses but it makes it hard when they don't really seem to value their customers. As I said, this store is quite small and doesn't have anything we wanted that we couldn't buy elsewhere. I wish they were better stocked the first time and had more employees to actually run the business during their supposed operating hours, but this just left my daughter devastated and me frustrated and angry the second time. I have always wanted…read moreto visit this store because it just peaked my interest but have only visited Old Town Pasadena at night, after they were closed. But this past Sunday, my husband, our little girl dog and I finally got a chance to visit since we were visiting Old Town Pasadena during the afternoon. When we walked in, we were greeted by an employee behind the register at the back of the store. This store is very cute and really would be a little girl's dream because of all the unicorns, pink, glitter and sparkle. I ended up purchasing a mermaid coloring book for my nieces to add to their Christmas gifts that I have for them, but not sure if they are even into mermaids (and my husband doesn't seem to know either if they are or if they are into unicorns. These little girls change their interests so often it is hard to keep up). But I'd love to take them to this store and see if they would want anything (and knowing me, I would most likely let them each pick out one item and I would purchase it for them). Overall, I really enjoyed my shopping visit and would come back for gifts in the future (maybe could also find a fun white elephant gift or a secret santa gift in here too).
