Bottom Line: Cards, gifts, toys and such…read more I still sends cards and I'm a fan of gift stores so of course I had to check out Critters while in downtown Salisbury. There was quite the variety of items and as the name implies it seems they have lots of stuff that are critter or animal themed like stuffed animals, calendars, puzzles, cards and such. I think kids would love this place as there are all sorts of little toys, novelties, gizmos and such. In the end I grabbed a few cards to have on hand and a couple bars of Pre de Provence soap. The staff, presumably the owner, was very friendly.

The Hydrangea plant i ordered arrived on March 19th. Pic my sis sent me didn't look great; stems were sparse, like some had been cut out...there was string around all the stems and ribbon was sad looking. I did not say anything because she was happy. I visited 16 days later, and saw it...it was totally dead...every part of it. My sister said she watered it. Roots were all over the dirt...but i'd never see a plant so D-E-A-D. I chose not to make a fuss when visiting and today, my first day back i lodged a complaint. I attempted to get either a new plant sent or reimbursed. I spoke w/McKenzie (not the owner) but got a call back from some gal (Owner?) who said she could neither reimburse or replace because of their policy. Apparently, one has 24 hrs. from order/arrival to complain or eat it. So, yeah, choose another florist.

The flower arrangements are absolutely stunning and the owners are equally enjoyable to work with. The wife was very accommodating. Her decorative prowess was very helpful with choosing an arrangement for Mother's Day. They make the arrangements on the spot no need to order ahead unless there are special roses you might have in mind. They actually hand paint some that will need to be ordered ahead of time. While waiting I was able to converse with the husband and son while the wife worked her magic. I learned they do not fluctuate their prices based on holidays. The prices you see are what you get all year long. They even offer wholesale!
