We currently live out of country so it was very important for us to find the right fit for this situation. It can be very scary entrusting your home with people you don't know, but we feel very pleased with the tenants Matt helped us find and where we are at with our rental. From coaching us with prep before hitting the market, to managing the rental process, and even doing a mid-lease follow up to make sure everything was going well, we would totally recommend Matt and would definitely love to continue working with him! Also a big loving shout out to Brel themselves - Mel & Brendan - 2 incredible people!! Thank you for all the love, fun, & guidance over the years, we adore you both and wish you and your team nothing but the best!

We just sold our home through BREL and we could not have been happier!…read more We had some bad experiences in the past with agents when selling our previous homes, so we did a LOT of research to find the right agent to sell this one. After interviewing 4 agents, we went with Lisa Bednarski and BREL and we are so glad we did. Lisa's enthusiasm, positive attitude, and excitement at the challenge was a refreshing change. She was patient with us when we needed reassuring, and got us through all the steps to SOLD. In 3 days after listing! Kiel, the BREL stager did an amazing job making our home look like it was in a magazine! I recommend BREL for anyone buying, or selling. In this day and age, most real estate agents are like dinosaurs, but not BREL, they are showing the rest how it should be done in the digital age, and with all the marketing tools available, not just an MLS listing. Do your research and you will see why so many of BREL's clients are singing their praises... they are just that great. Thank you Lisa Bednarski, this Lisa is grateful we found you!

I would strongly recommend reconsidering renting or buying a property there, or any affiliated with Azuria. You may think my story is minor and doesn't matter, but I understand from people in the building that other people have problems with both the employees and the company. The short version is, I was walking a dog outside the property when I heard one landscaping employee complaining loudly to another about the entitlement of the people in the building. I ignored it at first until I realized she might be passive aggressively talking about me, something that shocked me. I said, "are you talking about me?" Yeah," she said, "I AM talking about you. You people with your dogs think its my job to deal with fecal matter and urine and it's not." She was in fact not working with gloves. "okay.... I said, but I have bags, I said flapping them happily. And my dog is on a leash." She snorted back, "I don't care, and there is still pee which gets on our hands, its not my job to deal with that. " I wasn't sure if she was right...isn't it a hazard of working with landscaping that there is stuff in the soil??? Anyway, I said RESPECTFULLY, "I am sorry, I wasn't aware, and I don't see it posted anywhere that dogs are prohibited," She said the following "Oh yeah, AS IF you would FOLLOW a sign if there were one. You people have been told enough." This was upsetting, I have NOT been told this and I did not deserve this treatment. I said, I am not sure that its right to talk to me this way, I did not know this. She said MOCKINGLY: "oh, why, because I didn't ask you nicely, "oh please don't pee in the garden?!!" I didn't say this, but ...Umm... yeah, that might have worked. Certainly, being mean to me hasn't helped. At this point, about four other residents had stopped to watch her snark at me, and I was near crying. "Go away," she said. "you are harassing me." Again I didn't say it but: WTF? really? so I indicated I would make a written complaint and she said "go ahead, you aren't that special you know." I don't claim to be special but I think that this was pretty hostile and unprofessional. Her friend giggled. When I exited sobeys 15 minutes later, she was standing by a van marked "the cultivated garden" and complaining about me to about 4 people. I am still investigating if they are affiliated with her. I went inside and talked to the staff at Sobeys who know me by name. They told me who these people worked for, Azuria, and pointed out one of their managers as he was passing. I asked him, respectfully if he had any time to discuss what happened, but he was annoyed and defensive and had already heard a different version. he said, "did our gardener ask you not to let your dog pee in the garden?" That's the point, I said, she didn't ask me that. She just started talking about me aggressively and then ripped into me. He was unsympathetic, "yeah, well, our staff get alot of flack from dog people." I am sorry if the staff gets flack from dog people. I sympathize with the fact that not all dog owners follow rules and it is frustrating. On the other hand, I was on leash, with bags, and it wasn't posted and she ripped into me. Should gardeners be allowed to talk to people like this simply because they have frustrations about other people. He said I could complain to the office, and walked off. I would say he spent ten minutes with me and was not very concerned. What did I want? I wanted him to say I will talk to her about being aggressive and unprofessional with people. Not only does it represent his company poorly, but it was really upsetting for me to feel coasted like this. I see the company has poor reviews and I can see why.

I was living in the US with our two toddlers and helping care for my godmom who is battling cancer when my husband accepted a job in Toronto. We had no plans to leave Vancouver and had just over a month to make the move to the GTA. I hitched a trailer onto the back of my SUV and drove 20+ hours to Toronto with only a weekend to secure a rental before flying back to Vancouver. My husband and I both were under a lot of stress and Ali (our realtor) swooped in to help us with one of our biggest decisions - where to live! From the moment we first connected with her, she demonstrated such professionalism, responsiveness in matching our needs and desires to an ideal location and impressive confidence in her ability to get us exactly what we wanted. I spent two days touring homes with Ali and lots of emails, texts and phone calls between the three of us. I love that the company is run by women, and they are all great with communication and trying to understand your needs. Christine and Lori also reached out several times prior to commencing our search and even after we moved in, making sure that everything went smoothly and that we were happy. They also off wrap-around services and referrals for any type of repair, renovation or service work you may need in your home. We are beyond satisfied with this company and the services that Ali provided to us and will definitely continue to work with them, and refer our contacts as well.

We truly love working with Christine and her team because they are very quick to respond to emails/ calls and if there is a request they ensure to complete it ASAP. Christine truly cares for her clients and always ensure they are taken care of. We truly consider Christine as a friend not just a agent, she is so warm and welcoming. My husband and I view the condo on Saturday at 2PM and Rakhee and Anika (Mortgage Savvy) they did the underwrite in just under and hour and we purchases the place by 8PM. Needless to say they are a DREAM TEAM. Anika was excellent took the time to go over every detail which was great as this was all new and abundance of information. Thank you to everyone, we are all moved in and couldn't be happier.
