One of my colleagues is from Perth and when I told her my husband and I were doing a day trip to Perth as part of our staycation, she recommended we have lunch at Fieldhouse. It only has seating for 8 inside (4 tables of 2) and 4 picnic tables outside (so seating for about 16 outside). I got the Chicken and Brie sandwich ($14.75) and added a side salad for my husband and I to share ($5). My husband got the Ham and Swiss sandwich ($14.25) and we also got a cruffin ($5.25) for dessert, but ended up taking it home. Before we left my husband got an Americano to go ($3). The dressing was a creamy dressing and on the runny side. I'm glad I asked for it on the side, as I used only about a third of it. I had a bite of my husband's sandwich and it was ok, but I much preferred mine. He liked his better, so it all worked out. His was on a fluffier and softer bread. The ham was deli ham, but it tasted ok. The Swiss cheese was nippy. Service was pleasant. My husband enjoyed his Americano. We had the Brownie Cruffin at home. The pastry was flakey and delicious. The chocolate filling was like a rich chocolate pudding. It was very decadent.
