Having eaten in quite a few Zizzis around the country, I'm a big fan of their initiative and ethos,…read moreand their pasta is always superb. However, I didn't feel that this one was quite up to the exceptional standard of other branches I've visited - or maybe a Monday night wasn't the best time to visit. We were greeted courteously and quickly shown to a table - although it was hardly busy so the staff were practically falling over themselves to serve us. The first problem I had was with the atmospheric lighting, which in the front section seemed to come solely from tiny wall fittings. It was so dim that I had to use the torch app on my phone in order to read the specials menu, which was printed on a brown card insert in the menu. I also struggled to read the red wine choices, which were printed on a red background. Admittedly at my age I do sometimes struggle a bit in dim lighting, but even my colleague thought that this did seem a bit extreme! I ordered the seafood linguine, which is a fairly standard choice for me in Zizzi, and a side order of garlic bread. That was the second problem - the garlic bread arrived covered in cheese, although I hadn't asked for the cheesy version. However, it was soon replaced and the rest of the meal was as delicious as expected from Zizzis. Perhaps I was just a bit tired, but the overall experience this evening just served to take the edge off my love of this chain, and reduced the star rating of this particular branch. Sorry Zizzi - I still love you really.

My partner and I decided to order pizza from Dominos today. My partner placed the order by phone…read moreand we were told there would be a 50 minute wait on the food, which was fine. Fifty minutes passed. A little while later, the partner gets a text message from the driver and he calls him up. The driver said he couldn't find our house and became difficult when my partner tried to explain our location to him. The driver was rude to my partner and hung up on him. My partner phoned Dominos to complain. It was explained to us that the driver wasn't going to co-operate and had effectively gone AWOL. The supervisor we spoke to said he'd cook our food again and gave us a full refund. Nice man. An hour later, a different driver delivered our food. He apologised for his colleague's behaviour. Trouble was, our order wasn't right. The Fanta became coke and the thin crust on one of the pizzas had become a cheese stuffed crust. Delivery driver was mortified but we decided to leave it. Just feel there was a lack of customer service and attention to detail. I would like to point out that we've had loads of Dominos delivered and this was the first time something went wrong.

It was pretty busy when we got there but luckily our group was small, three of us. We were seated on the 2nd floor which was pretty roomy and a bit warm but then again, we are in a pizzeria. I ended up ordering the La Bella Vita pizza which had mozzarella, pepperoni sausage, Italian salame, torn chicken breast, and bacon. It was delicious and the cheese was perfect and not too cheesy. The sauce on the pizza had a great taste that put it over the top, amazing. I paired it well with my Aperol Spritz and took in the views while eating. Our waitress was great and recommended some must see locations while we were in town. She was great. If I ever come back to Bath, I will definitely stop by again because there were some other menu items that caught my eye and plus, the service was great.

Shared one of their specialty pizzas (very tasty, only wish there'd been a bit more generous helpings of the meat topping, as not every slice had it), Caesar salad (big portion, perfect for sharing), and a sampler of their dipping sauces (for the crust -- so good!). They also brought out a pitcher of cold water for the table (an appreciated touch). Would recommend!
