I decided to give them the second try, after seeing them featured in March on a WGN Around Town segment by my Fav Anna B. who asked ALL the right questions. I then learned exactly how abbreviated my tour was when they traveled to Museum Campus, featuring some of the Best Views of Chicago's Skyline. 1. Feb 2026 event, the bus was decorated inside with Fall Foliage and colors, instead of the advertised pink/white tea party vibe. Tour started about 40 minutes late, waiting on guests to arrive and some still never showed. During the tour, the bus stalled, completely shut down at least three times, further abbreviating the tour. We didn't receive the correct number of tea tastings advertised and we weren't offered honey or sweeteners. The bus abruptly returned to home base early to avoid shutting down again. Tour Team was engaging, entertaining, knowledgeable of the city, and amazing! Truly tried to make the best of a bad situation. 2. May 2026 event, received an email that the tour would be delayed, less than an hour before the scheduled departure. Bus was beautifully decorated and the Tour Team was incredible. We came prepared this time with fresh lemon, honey sticks, and jars. Very noticeable when we arrived, no souvenir cups. Teas were served in white paper cups which prompted me to ask if they would have the souvenir boxes at the end of the tour for our leftovers. No cute souvenir boxes either. Still didn't get what we paid for which is disappointing. I believe we did get the entire tour this time and we came prepared with our own extras. Not sure if other cities have better success but Chicago may need to press pause, work out the kinks, and come back strong in true CHICAGO form!
