We were not after anything particular, so we hit up Tommy Bahama, Levis, Spirit of Sante Fe and Tecovas for shopping, then grabbed lunch at Firebirds and had a coffee at Haute Coffee while we waited on our Uber. The complex is clean, well mapped out and has an okay amount of options for shopping, but could use a few more casual spots in both retail and dining. They are anchored by a few big stores such as Dillard's, Macy's and JCPenney, have several quintessential mall stores such as Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works and Finish Line...and of course they are connected to the famed mall restaurant, Cheesecake Factory. There are a few open spots along each floor, but for the most part, it appears that the mall is at least 70 - 75% occupied. One end of the mall is definitely slower than the other, which makes sense as the food court is on one end, and it is the more active and "happening" part of the mall. While most stores are chain, there are a few local spots from coffee shops, barbers, artists and even massage spots. The mall was clean and in decent shape for what it is. It is dated and you can tell no resources have been put into it recently. Overall, okay indoor mall that serves its purpose and doing good by hanging on!

There's a wonderful olive oil shop with some of the finest selections, along with a few restaurants, cozy courtyards featuring a large TV screen, a stage for concerts, cafés, a bakery, and even a farmers market on weekends. The Joesler-style architecture is cozy and inviting and every corner is simply beautiful. After a hot yoga session at the Yoga POD, you can pop into the Ice Box for cryotherapy, grab an ice cream or coffee with friends, or plan a relaxed date night with your significant other. As far as shopping districts go, the Sunshine Mile is located just off downtown Tucson and could very well be considered a second downtown. You've got your go-to stores like Dillard's, Old Navy, Ulta, plus fun extras like Round1 and a movie theater, which honestly makes it more than just a shopping trip . I like coming here when I want something easy and low-stress -- plenty of parking , AC blasting in the summer, and enough variety to wander without feeling overwhelmed . Is it the fanciest mall? No. But it's reliable, convenient, and still feels like a real MALL which is rare these days.
