Leafy Landscapes came out to give our front yard a facelift, and what an awesome job these…read moregentlemen did! They took care of removing large overgrown shrubs in front of our house with an excavator, Rob redesigned the yard using a video demonstration beforehand which looked outstanding, the crew laid new bordering, expanding the beds, replaced all soil and added weed-preventing landscape fabric and landscape rock, and added several palms, small shrubs, and several items of color that were mostly maintenance-free at our request. Some landscape companies will take what you request and twist them to convince you to use certain plants that turn more of a profit for them, but not Leafy Landscapes. They'll work with your request and do everything to make it happen, offering some expert guidance along the way, but not hard-selling toward something else. What I like most is that Rob and his crew are expert at landscape and landscape design and have been involved in horticulture for many years, so they know what works and doesn't work in a central Florida landscape. Tremendous job - We would highly recommend! ***** (ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2018) - Excellent work by both gentlemen here doing major trimming of shrubs and palms. This company doesn't just send someone with just some expensive shears and a truck. Unlike those from other companies, they come armed with knowledge of horticulture and landscaping to where you can always trust the way they do their work and can trust their opinions on what to have done with the landscape to make it thrive. Leafy Landscapes was a great find, and we look forward to having them out again for possibly a landscape redesign this spring. Thanks again!

I hired these guys about two years ago and it's been a constant struggle to get them to do the job…read moreright, anywhere from breaking sprinkler heads that they didn't report or repair to killing most of my garden with "weed control". Chris manages the bussiness and only cares about charging for services that are done very poorly or not at all. I travel out of state and without fail always find an unpleasant surprise with my garden and lawn when I get back home, from big swaths of dead grass and plants due to broken sprinkler heads and not getting water to the most recent disaster where I asked them to do weed control,, and unfortunately, their technician sprayed all of my plants and killed most of them. Kiefer, Chris's assistant Inspected the property and acknowledge that they had screwed up and killed a lot of plants. He promised to replace them, but now two weeks later and nothing. I talked to Chris about this and his reply was "we'll schedule it when we have time and the plants are cheap enough to buy". I'm afraid I'll have to seek legal action against these people to get resolution. They simply don't care. Do yourself a favor and find a more responsible Landscape company to take care of your lawn and garden.

Absolutely outstanding work by Humphries Lawn Care!…read more We couldn't be happier with the results from Humphries Lawn Care. They installed brand new, beautiful St. Augustine sod, and our yard looks like it belongs in a magazine now. The sod was fresh, perfectly laid, and installed with incredible attention to detail. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work. They also trimmed our crepe myrtles, and the difference is night and day. The trees look clean, healthy, and professionally shaped--not hacked or over-trimmed like we've experienced with other companies in the past. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking. They showed up on time, communicated clearly, and left everything spotless when they were done. It's rare to find a lawn care company that delivers this level of craftsmanship and pride in their work. If you're looking for top-notch lawn care, fresh sod installation, or expert tree trimming, I highly recommend Humphries Lawn Care. We will absolutely be using them again! Amazing value ! Their quality is absolutely priceless

Sorry to say but Adam is unreliable, does not complete work as contracted for " as written by his…read morewife Jackie" and does not stand behind his work. Adam seems willing to start jobs but then runs out of gas, cuts corners and doesn't finish them as contracted. I asked him to dig out around a home I just purchased to remove top soil and wood mulch, move ALL the sprinkler heads away from the sides of the home and then install pond stones over a good weed barrier. This home is wood frame with stucco exterior that has the usual cutback at the bottom. It's important to keep that cutback clear to avoid termites. When they started the job all appeared to be going well. I had other work to do so I wasn't watching them constantly. At one checkpoint Jackie was telling the crew to keep the stones away from the top of the cutback...as I requested. When Adam told me they were finished I did a quick look but didn't closely examine the entire area. After paying him in full I tested the sprinklers only to find a huge gusher on the first zone. The line was cut during the digging effort. Adam's "sprinkler guy" never bothered to check the system and neither did Adam. Fortunately they did come back a few hours later to fix the issue. The next day I started work painting the exterior and noticed 4 sprinkler heads had not been moved, just buried under stone. The stone was also piled up covering the cutback in many areas around the house, included the places that Jackie had cleared up earlier. After 2 weeks of text message excuses for not returning, it's just silence. I finished painting but had to move the stones away from the cutback myself and I'm stuck having to find another contractor to do the work I already paid ANJ to do the first time. In the meantime I've had several neighbors ask who I used for the work and was I satisfied.

We recently built a pool and needed a company that could install a new irrigation system, a completely new landscape, and be flexible with the install date. Pheonix was that company. The pricing was in line with what we expected and Shawn will work with you to design a landscape that fits your budget. He is top notch and does not promise things he cannot deliver on. The landscapers that came out, Grim and Luis, are also great. All 3 guys have a very keen eye for detail and perfection. The knowledge they have about trees, plants, flowers and sod is pretty amazing! My wife and I were blown away with the final result and it was MUCH better than we expected. We now have our little oasis and know it was done right. We have no regrets with hiring Pheonix and would definitely hire them again for any other job we would need. Thank you Shawn and the entire Pheonix team!!!

They sprayed, stripped and killed weeds 3 days before they started on my front lawn. I expected everything that was getting replaced to have farley bare ground. I noticed weeds and grass though still a day before arival. When they arrived the following day I was thinking they would have removed what didnt die or clear but it never was. The plan was for them to resod the whole front as well as new shrubs and jasmin around my magnolia tree. I observed them through the process and the sod looked fine. While they were on their lunch I went out and noticed areas that still had weeds and grass patches.... But they never really removed them. The first month it looked pretty good but weeds were starting to pop up. I knew I had to maintain them and for the most part I did ...once a week but after 4 months I texted them the pictures that you see below on how grass is growing back and how I was wondering if they could fix it. No responce or wanting to make it right, just going on with their next big project with more $$. Like I said the sod turned out fine but there is no way I would let them do the landscape part. Your better off paying someone else more or doing it yourself...now I have the Joy's of doing just that for a project that should have been done right the first time.
