Very pleasant place to find yourself, especially when it's cold and you can sit around the fire. Good range of beers, very plush 'old country house' surroundings, a bit too much burgundy dralon for my liking but it goes. A large area is given over to eating, but it somehow avoids that feeling of sitting in a restaurant if you just want to nip in for a pint or two.
