I can't speak for all the services this business offers, but I recently dropped off 10 chainsaw chains to be sharpened (a rather basic job). When I went to pick them up I noticed the chains were blue'd. If you don't know what that means, it's when they overheat the metal because they pushed on the grinder to hard and removed extra material. They said "it's just on the surface and wipes off", wrong.
Let's take a moment to realize someone doesn't bring in 10 chainsaw chains if they don't know a bit more than the average person about sawing. I brushed off the comment and left. Upon closer review 6 chains were sharpened so aggressively they ground a divot out and they never touched the rakers so the blades cut very poorly.
I'm thankful this was my first visit and it will definitely be the last. I wouldn't recommend them for repair service of any kind if they can't even sharpen chains properly. read more
