There were four of us and we all had different food. Everything we had was so good. Tasty and well prepared. The steaks were all high quality and cooked perfectly. Salads were seasonal and tasty. Black paintwork and nicotine walls. Black Boy dates back to the 1330s, though the first reference to licenced premises on the site was in 1729. Most now is 17th and 18th century. Ye Olde Black Boy is the definitive genuine traditional Olde English pub and of course it has a ghost. it is a little slave boy (hence the name) who was a servant there before the abolishion.
