Has they still been on Monaghan St and Maya cafe was open I'd have gone there for a great cappuccino. This time we got the meal deal 3 at £24 but it was topped up by £2 due to my order choices (no fish just chicken based mains) but I've give. Up arguing over price hikes. I suppose I was inclined to do a review here having just recently experienced a truly dreadful Bangladeshi restaurant in Letterkenny. The latter deserves promptly closed down with the former deserving of support in this most challenging of times.

We came here after a visit to the Curragh Racecourse, and discovered that every other pub/restaurant in the area was either closed or stopped serving food at 9pm. Sitaaray to the rescue - they open till 11pm! The food won't blow your mind, but it had pretty good flavor and the prices were great. The Food: We got Tandoori Mixed Special (€11.95), a side of the Saag Paneer (€4.95), and G.O.C. naan (€3.25) to split between the two of us. The Tandoori special was very generous portions, and included chicken, lamb, and other grilled meat. I don't usually like getting tandoori at Indian restaurants (it's like the least sexy dish), but we were craving meat, so we went for it. It was good, but not great - a little dry, but that is often the case. There a number of really flavorful sauces that you can add (some with a lot of heat), and that helped a lot. At the price and for the amount of food, it was a good deal though (and definitely satisfied the meat craving). The Saag Paneer, which is pureed spinach and mustard leaves with cream and chunks of Indian cheese, was flavorful. The menu said medium spicy, but I did not notice any real heat. The G.O.C. naan (garlic, onion, and coriander) was fresh and doughy, also with good flavor - not quite as much as I expected, but still pretty good. Overall, it won't be the most memorable meal, but given the few options in the area, at this price the food was well worth it. Space and Pace: Large dining space in the restaurant that was quite empty when we arrived. The restaurant has an almost overly formal feel to it with mood lighting and wine glasses set out, red tablecloth, etc. I found that slightly odd, given that they also do take out, but it is a really nice interior and probably makes for a romantic date. Service: Really friendly servers and people running the restaurant, with good recommendations. Our server warned us about the super spicy sauce you can add to your food, and was a bit surprised that we just about finished off the entire container. The food also came out relatively quickly - we left very happy.

I've sampled plenty of the starter dishes and for mains have tried quite a few options over from the beef or chicken jalrezi, tikka masala, korma oh and let's not forge their vindaloo (buyer's beware it is as hot as they come), all dishes have been amazing. My fave, go to main meal is now the chicken tikka masala has enough of everything, packed with flavour and doesn't make me cry like the vindaloo! Also, little tip for you... order the garlic Naan! It's worth the buck and then some. I've often ordered from them when having guests over so whether it be a small order for 2 or larger group they've got you covered. The delivery service is always prompt, never had any issues here and the once time they had a long delivery timeframe they made it know over the phone when I placed the order to make sure I was ok with the wait... After much searching online, we found the details of this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We made a quick call, to make a reservation for that evening. We later found out that the establishment is also a Bed & Breakfast, something that we will remember when we return to the area. In the town of Belturbet, at the top of the Main Street the road bends to the right towards Cavan and Dublin, rather than following the road to the right, go straight on and you will see the marina on your left. Follow this road out of Belturbet for around 5 miles and we found the restaurant on the left, up a brightly lit driveway. Upon arriving at the restaurant, set in the beautiful County Cavan countryside, we were greeted by comfortable and appealing furnishings and the aroma of spices. We availed of the Christmas Menu meal deal, this included four courses and a glass of wine or beer for just €25 each. Each course was beautifully presented and the food was obviously freshly prepared, as it tasted superb. The couple that run the place were very welcoming and friendly and there was a great and relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. If you like Indian food, you will not be disappointed and I bet you will not find better anywhere.

It wasn't very spicy but finding great indian food is both a need and a challenge in Ireland, so any place that can fit the bill - especially when we're talking well outside of dublin, is going to get some of my time. I think the veggie sampler was a little bit small and the chili naan not quite spicy enough for my preferences, but overall I'd take stuff like chickpea bhaat and aloo gobi anywhere I can get it. Meanwhile, the food was honestly really good - and service was extremely polite as well. I don't quite understand how this place does not get more business when it is effectively serving excellent food. I guess maybe yelp can help them get on the radar.
