I had traveled from out of town to pick up some unsold items on the last day of my contract. One dress in particular had a security sensor attached -- which signaled to me that they understood its value -- but when they removed the sensor, it sprayed ink all over the white fabric. Despite the damage, they offered me just $22 for the dress, which I later sold on Poshmark for $100 the same day I picked it up. When I voiced my concerns, I was encouraged to speak with someone at the front desk, but the response was dismissive -- simply stating it would be treated as a markdown sale. There was no accountability, and it was clear there would be no resolution. I didn't bother to fight the way they seemed happy to conduct business, as this was my first experience. It was a disappointing experience that showed a lack of care for consigned items at Second Chance. I've learned my lesson and will not be returning. I'd recommend sellers explore other platforms or shops that treat high-value pieces with more respect and offer fairer returns.

Great finds for decent prices. Totally unassuming: this shop…read more"under-sells and over-delivers! Skip the clothing altogether but spend hours browsing over everything else. I got a 1955 (Jetson's era meets 1930s art deco) electric coffee maker in mint condition (with all the parts) for $35!!! Sure it wasn't cheap, but it was totally worth it! $22 seems to be the number of choice for most jewelry and accessories (which I found to be slightly overpriced). Great music played loud but didn't bother me one bit, in fact it added to my overall enjoyment and experience of the shop. Great selection of authentic broaches and jewelry. Limited bake-light and lucite items though the few they DO have are priced fairly. Best part is by far the antique household items. Large selection of records with Lou Reed having his own section! Dressing room is the restroom. Restroom is small, dingy, dirty but again, works with the vibe of the place so it didn't bother me. It felt kinda like a live art museum where you can pick things up in one place and then leave them in another. Everything was scattered around and mixed together so it made you really have to look and interact with the space. I had a fun time. It felt like an artist date!

Great selection of odd-ball dresses and jackets from different decades. Good amount of accessories if you're looking for small pins, rings and other jewelry. I stumbled upon Unique Treasures after my most recent pit stop at the Clintonville Farmers Market…read more After walking by as I was heading to and from the car, I was intrigued by the dusty window and old signage. I just knew there had to be something special in there waiting for me! I opened the door and immediately noticed the large amount of inventory crammed into this little store. There was so much to choose from, I didn't even know where to start. No lie! I ended up starting towards the front of the room and eventually worked my way to the back. After browsing around for some time, I discovered everything from full tea sets to old photos, tons of jewelry, some awesome wall mirrors (with a touch of paint they'll be good as new!), records, and so much more! The fella that runs the placed is named Bob and he was so sweet. He has his nameplate on the desk next to the register, which made it really easy for me to know who to ask for when I was ready to check out. I assured him that I'll be back on Saturdays after the farmers market and he said he's almost always there (unless he's visiting Florida, haha). After about 15 minutes of looking around, I found a handful of cool jewelry pieces that I wanted. I ended up narrowing my option down to a really pretty blue pendant that simply needed a chain to be turned into a bohemian style necklace. For only a few dollars, I practically had a brand new piece of jewelry that could go with just about anything in my closet. Absolute score! I can truly say that I'm eager to make this a more regular stop on my weekend trips to the market. If I only looked around for fifteen minutes and found something good, just imagine what I could find with twenty, thirty, plus.

I'm a huge fan of '70s fashion and absolutely fell in love with a pair of high-waisted, straight-leg denim jeans. Sadly, they were a bit too tight in the waist, even though the fit everywhere else was perfect. While I'm not overly fond of the pricing, I do understand it--because for the perfect, high-quality pair of vintage jeans, I'd absolutely pay the price. I didn't leave empty-handed though; I walked out with a super cool pair of sunnies that I'm obsessed with. Huge thanks to my lovely sweetheart for finding this gem of a store! I'm already looking forward to another visit and potentially checking out their Cleveland location as well.

This store specializes in vintage finds. they have furniture, glassware, jewelry, clothing, vinyl records, and a lot of other really cool pieces. You could spend a few hours in here, looking at everything they had. Their vintage clothing selection is quite extensive, although we both felt that the pieces were a bit overpriced. It was definitely a fun way to spend a few hours, but again we didn't spend any money because the clothing was so pricey. If you're looking for some unique vintage items this is definitely the place to look
