We went there today actually for the birthday lunch of two of our colleagues. Never been there…read morebefore. The food comes in big portions and it is tasty. The waiters are a bit slow, and they do not pay attention when you call them, but in general I had a good time. I had the bacon and chicken chiabatta, and I would have been very happy with it, if my bacon was crispy on its fat and it was a bit warmer. The chips served with it however, were really nice - makes a difference when almost everywhere in UK the chips are half fried... prices were more than ok happy to go back. Oh! I forgot to mention that it was packed during lunch time, and that made it a bit noisy, but bearable. It has very clean toilets, and they smell nice. Did not also like the fact that when I entered the place there was a dog inside where the bar area is...

The broadstraik has recently been done up and wow what an improvement!…read more From the main entrance you enter a lovely cosy bar area, with plenty of squishy sofas by the fires and nice comfy seats. The wine is lovely and there are real ales on tap. Through to the restaurant area, it is nicely decorated, warm and spacious with another fire. The service is attentive and friendly and the menu changes regularly and has lovely hearty food all at reasonable prices. I can particular recommend the burger - although the wedges are spicy! All in all, a lovely bar and restaurant, worth the drive out of town for. There is plenty of parking and it is kid friendly. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Staff are pleasant and helpful and there is a good choice of food including specials and veggie dishes . There is also a good selection of beers and whisky and a roomy area for meals . I had a veggie burger which was tasty and accompanied with the proverbial fries and onion rings . Having been on the go all day it was well received as was my companion,s who had the steak burger . The Kimberley is renowned for fresh fish dishes as well , the fish and chips drifted by us for someone else and it was well presented and great portions . We sat content for ages thereafter, soaking up the ambience and rays . Will definitely return sometime.

What a treasure the Kimberley is for Findhorn. Every time I visit here I try to make the effort to…read morevisit the place to eat at least once, and I've never been disappointed. The fish & chips is the best I have had anywhere, and the portions are enormous - I got two huge pieces of battered haddock that filled the plate to such an extent that I could barely see the chips lurking underneath. I'm not kidding! The specials are also great and well above the standard you might expect from such a small hamlet (two words - seafood platter!), and there's always a choice of 3 or 4 veggie dishes on the board too. Prices are pretty reasonable and certainly don't strain the wallet too much given the size of the portions. Beers are a more standard Belhaven range, but they do always have one speciality real ale on hand pump. Worth booking at weekends as they can get pretty busy.
