Josie helped me zero in on a machine that fit my interests, Cameron has been very knowledgeable about the technical side of things, but is also a great source of knowledge about the details of which feet, which stitches, which techniques to use. All of the employees are friendly and helpful and no one seems to mind the calls when I run into trouble. Service and classes have been consistently great. So glad I found this store so early in my adventure into a new creative outlet. Always something new to learn and create with these guys at your back.

I showed up right before closing with my 30+ year old machine. I had a big, long weekend of…read morequilting planned and it had finally given up on me. Cam could absolutely fix it, but was concerned I would be back within a few months spending more to keep it running than it was worth. It had been a gift from my husband when we had very little. Cam guided us through the decision (no pressure!) of a new machine. I told him exactly what I needed and he did not attempt to "sell me" on something crazy expensive. In the end, I walked out with the perfect machine for what I needed and it was UNDER $1,000. After a couple of weeks, I was struggling with some of the features/functionality. He invited me to come in, sit down, and sew. He would be right there to answer x, y, and z. Within 2 hours, I was off and running. I'm still using that same little machine AND bought my dream longarm from them. He and Josie are THE BEST! (My little old machine DID get repaired and they donate them for use in the community.)

The lady helping me was very nice and wound my selection into a skein for me. My only complaint is they charge 5% for using a credit card. I know the fees small businesses pay are hard on their profit margins but why charge your customers at least 2% more than the store is charged? Sneaky way to make more profit! And not customer friendly!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Tried looking for some yarn for making a hat that would…read morematch a knitted garment I recently acquired. They had what I needed, but it was thinner than the yarn used in the garment. The woman working that day was incredibly rude and all but chased me out of her store loudly saying that the yarn wouldn't work. She clearly didn't want to make a sale off of me that day. I'm a visibly middle-aged individual who's been knitting most of their life. My mum taught me a few things or two about how to modify my usage of yarns to suit a project if I can't find a perfect match. If that yarn ends up not working out, then that's on me and I'll find another use for it! The last time I was treated this rudely by a shopkeeper was when I was a teenager. In any event, if the owner is reading this, your yarn shop isn't the only one of its kind in town! I will be sure to tell all of my friends to never shop at your store again.
