I always get the same thing when I go, but next time I will have to venture out because the food it was just so good when I I first started with the crabcakes, I will say the crabcakes did not come as I expected, but they were still very good. I was expecting more of a flatter crabcake, but because they were fried, it still held up to my expectation then the salad came out and the salad was very good. I also ordered a lemon berry martini and it was very good. Also, I love the sugar rim on the glass. And finally, I ordered the grilled catfish with the crawfish, cornbread and mashed potatoes and green beans and it was amazing. Our waiter always recommends the crawfish cornbread with the grilled fish, and it was literally the best thing that I've gotten. The service was amazing. Our waiter was very patient with us and took the time to explain any questions that we had. I will say when I went to the Grapevine this time it was a little darker in there than normal, which was a little concerning because I could not see the menu as well as I normally can so being that it was dark it was kinda hard to read the menu and eat our food too . For dessert I decided to get the white chocolate bread pudding and it was so hot and good. It was fresh. It was good. It wasn't too sweet it was just right overall I give this place a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back sooner than I think.

The fried green tomatoes were beautifully burdened by crab meat and remoulade. The bread pudding was spectacular - just sumptuous. The next time I'm in Donaldsonville, I will make sure to drop by. Bonus: Bo and Grace's shop was outside (Sinners).

Staff is friendly and seem to know a lot of the regulars who walked up. Flavors are posted on the wall outside and cup sizes are modeled inside. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake snowball stuffed (which means with ice cream inside). The flavor was good--very sweet, as expected, but there was barely any ice cream inside...I had to swirl it around with my straw trying to find the ice cream but there was less than a teaspoon. I would still recommend them if you want a regular snowball without all the bells and whistles.

I was so impressed by this little place. We saw the sign for coffee house or McDonald's and we took…read morea chance on coffee house and we were not disappointed. The bathrooms are clean even if one of the doors doesn't latch well. We tried the chocolate Bavarian cream stuffed beignets and the regular beignets and the cafe au lait. The beignets are the best I had anywhere. They were a nice size and they were light and fluffy and covered in powdered sugar. The cafe au lait was just ok, I think we liked it better the cafe au lait mixed half and half with the French roast coffee for a stronger coffee flavor. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful and we don't wait too long to take our food with us. You can sit and eat in also but we were on our way through. We loved how coffee house is tucked into a little antique shop Cajun village. It has Cajun country music playing and there are stuffed gators around and lot of interesting antiques. I wish it were closer to more things to do, but if you're on the road from Nola to Baton Rouge it is a definite must! I really hope to go back with more time and try more interesting things.
