They hosted a large birthday party of 40+ on the patio. The ordering and serving was very smooth. They had no problem keeping everyone's orders straight. The food was delicious. Sam R and his associates did a fantastic job!

The menu is very limited and staffing is short handed. Probably needs to expand dinner and app menu. Will try again later but disappointed.

Burger had frozen tomatoes, the end pieces of an onion, soggy buns, and served with limp oily fries. Last time I'll eat here.

Went to one of their functions and it just a bad experience. The ad said doors open at 7 but it…read morewas not the case. They opened the doors at 7:30. Their ad said tickets were $15 dollars - but if you bought them at the door, they were $20. No where did they advertised that. Both bands started playing late. No one received a refund for an overall bad experience. We will never go there again.

My husband and I rented the Chico Women's Club for our wedding reception on June 9th. We had been…read moreto various events at the Women's Club in the past and had enjoyed its comfortable and quirky atmosphere. We met with the Club's event organizer, Sara Rose, to find out if it would be a fit for us. Sara Rose was friendly, honest, and professional. After we chose the Women's Club to be our venue, Sara Rose kept in contact with us --- answering any and all questions that we had. One of our concerns was who would clean up after the event. Cleaning in a wedding dress was the LAST thing I wanted to do. However, our family and friends cleaned up the decorations, and Sara Rose offered to clean the rest for a very reasonablel fee. The Women's Club was the perfect wedding reception venue for us. It was very affordable when compared to other venues in the area ($750 for the entire day), and it was close in proximity to our ceremony location in Bidwell Park. With its hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and hanging chandliers, the main room required litle decoration. The Women's Club also offers a stage which we took advantage of with our choice of a live band, The Decades. The patio area in the back gave those who wished to converse in a more quiet location an opportunity to do so. The garden foliage behind the back patio coupled with our hanging lanterns and cocktail tables gave the space quite a festive feel. Finally, the kitchen area was a great asset for our catering company, Bacio's. I would reccomend this venue to any couple who is on a budget, yet is looking for a relaxed and fun wedding reception.

I've been an Elks member for over 25 years, in another city, while in Chico Ca. decided to visit…read morethe Elks Lodge, went twice, a Monday evening an a Wednesday evening. Was saddened that not one member welcomed us to your lodge either evening, with the exception of the bartender asking for our membership card. Both nights we saw governing members of your lodge, yet not one of them came over to welcome us, introduce themselves, ask where we're from, what brings us to the Chico Lodge?? etc.. Wednesday was your burger night, we thought about staying, but since No one had even spoke to us, we felt unwelcome, we decided to go elsewhere for our dinner!! Your Governing personal needs to pay more attention to strangers in your lodge, If I'd been someone looking to join the Elks, I'd have walked out, not interested in returning!!! Every lodge is struggling to get new members, pay attention to how you treat strangers in your Lodge!!! Also, if I'd been from the ABC, a couple things I saw, I could have shut your lodge down for 90 days!!!!!! Wake up and pay attention to who's in Your Lodge!!!! It makes a big difference!!!! To set an example, went into a Elks Lodge in Oregon, within a few minutes the Exalted Ruler had introduced himself, welcomed us to there Lodge, introduced us to other local members, the bartender housed our 2nd drink, with a welcome to the lodge, was invited to join a group for there dinner!! Such a huge difference than the way we were treated in Chico.... Wake Up Chico!!!!

It was a long, tedious ritualistic endeavor. It was expensive too. $400 for both of us. Then covid hit. We only used the lodge 2-3 times total for meals, we don't drink. I asked them if they would extend our membership and they said no, we had to repay! Since then, 2 different couples have told us they are members and the cost is $200 for a couple. The husband becomes the member and the wife is included. I asked them about it. No refund offered. This dishonesty makes me question the whole club. The rituals taken from the freemasons, known to be not good, was creepy too.
