The Shack is a great place to stop in for some frozen yogurt. The staff was SO friendly & helped us make some delicious choices. I opted for the regular size of their "tropical" vegan flavor which was a mix of pineapple & coconut. I also got three toppings: Nutella (YES), shaved coconut & chopped hazelnuts. I have never seen Nutella syrup as an option for frozen yogurt & now I know what I have been missing. It was AMAZING & perfect with the chopped hazelnuts. Absolutely delicious donuts! We were walking around the area when we stumbled upon this place 10 minutes before they closed. You can see all the donuts through the glass exterior and they definitely are as tasty as they look! My wife got the oreo donut I had gotten the "absolutely minted" donut. We were so happy this place was still open because the donuts were wonderful! The breading was light and the filling was plentiful. We had tried to make it a point to come back the next day, but it just wasnt in our schedule. People, do yourself a favor. If this place is open, definitely stop in for a sweet treat! read more

I do not give 5 stars easily today I stopped in the shack while walking city center Cork in the rain to grab a cup of coffee and a donut One bite of the sugar and cinnamon donut I turned around and asked for a second one All donughts are not made alike! Hmm there's a long line. I looked through the glass walls and couldn't help but to notice their wide selection of donuts. I was headed to another donut shop but figured I'll go with this joint since I was already here. I was planning to order the lemon and lime donut but I ended up ordering the Irish cream cheese cake because why not? I wasn't too impressed with it but I do love cream cheese so it's hard to dislike. I wasn't sure what to expect from Irish cream but it made sense to order this. I loved that it wasn't grossly sweet. The donuts were soft and didn't have a stale taste. I wish I tried more flavors but that donut was so filling! I've never gotten full off a donut until I had this one. They also sell donuts with ice cream in the middle. They have a ton of great combo deals. read more

The shack is THE place to go in Cork for donuts. As a study abroad student, I only had a few months to really get to know the city and didn't want to waste time on bad donuts. Found this gem right on Oliver Plunkett street and continue to go back. They have so many flavors and varieties it takes me so long to decide! Wish I could ship these back to the States.
