SHE SAID IT IN SUCH A RUDE b!tchy way and stuff. I apolgize twice and she gave a whatever look and when I looked back she kept staring at me. Two houses that have additional sheds in the back. Each area has a "different" collectors that cares for it. The owner of this unique set up was super friendly. She even showed us part of her new stock that hasn't made it out the showroom floor. If you're looking for an authentic infant casket with crate for Halloween, she's got it. She even shared that a new collection was being added soon, vintage 1960's kitchenware. I'd really like to see how that turns out. They have tons on cool items, beautiful glassware, records, paintings, old windows and doors, stunning furniture and much more. After talking to her, if you don't want to 'run' a room she would be glad to help you sell pieces too. Neat store, if you're in the area you should stop by!

It warms my heart to know that there are still honest and trustworthy people like Donna around.

I needed the convertible top replaced on my Miata, a Google search returned this business. I was planning on going down to Austin to have the repair completed but since this is a two-day job, getting the work done in Killeen is much more convenient. I called the shop, confirmed that they could complete the job and received an acceptable estimate. I also mentioned that I didn't have a truck and asked if I could order the top and have it shipped directly to the shop and was told that that wouldn't be a problem; I got the impression that this had been done before. I asked if they could recommend any particular brand of replacement top and was told that both EZ ON and Robbins were quality brands, I went with a Robbins from TopsOnline.com. The person I spoke to at Barrett's was polite and VERY informative, so far, so good. Well, I ordered the top August 2nd, opting for the cloth because I believe it looks a bit classier than the original vinyl, seeing the new top installed I'm glad I made that choice. For any Miata types out there, the item number that I ordered was "R2917C-STBKB" with a description of "1998 thru 2005 Mazda Miata MX5 & MX5 Eunos -- 1 Piece Look Top with No Zipper Heated Defroster Glass Window With New Rain Rail" As planned, on August 8th, my top arrived at the shop, I was notified of the delivery and called to confirm receipt, I wish I had waited for the shop to call me since I could have reviewed that as well. The shop was booked up for the remainder of the week so the install actually began a few days later, I used their drop-off service and dropped my car off in the evening. The install was expected to take two days but took three, this wasn't a big deal, I'd much rather the top be installed professionally than quickly, and this was a beautiful install! I apologize to the business for this review being dated by a couple of months but that is actually a good thing, I've had a few more weeks to review both the top and the install. I am comfortable taking my Miata through touch-free carwashes and this top performs well under such conditions, I also drove through heavy rain generated by Hurricane Harvey and thanks to some cool mornings, I've been able to test out the rear defrost. Everything works as advertised and I am 100% satisfied with both the product and the installation. Kudos to both Topsonline.com and Barrett's Upholstery Center.

That means that you should visit multiple shops to find the ones that fit your aesthetic as well. This shop has so many beautiful fabrics to choose from in addition to all of the notions, patterns and books you might expect. I found several fabric lines I hadn't seen before, even though they were my 10th shop on the All Texas Shop Hop. Even though my fabric stash is bursting at the seams, I still walked away with 2 new yards of a beautiful Art Gallery Fabric. They also have a lovely selection of pre-cuts and fabric panels, but what I loved most - beyond the friendly and helpful shopkeeper - was the "Make your own Jelly Roll" wall - where you could pick and choose what fabric strips you want in 2 1/2 in size like a traditional jelly roll. How many times have I purchased a jelly roll because I liked one or two prints? more than I'd care to mention if I'm honest. This gives you the option to pick the strips you want to include, without having to buy yardage and do the cutting yourself. The ONE thing I didn't see was a selection of Tula Pink Fabric lines - which is 100% fine by me but for the die-hard Tula fans, just know you will find so much more to finish out your project with, but if you are looking specifically for Tula, this isn't your shop. Definitely give them a visit if you are in the central Texas region. I'll definitely look to head back out before starting my next project.
