I had this hotel stay arranged by a hair clinic, for 2 nights. I was given an early check in at…read more5:30p & appreciated that, instead of 5p.
I was ecstatic to get rest on the 10th floor without stomping over my head & noise from any other guests - I saw none on my floor.
The room was nice with 2 doubles, large walk in shower in a nice bathroom. No face towels - so I knew to bring my own. No microwave so I brought my personal crockpot. But there was a disgustingly filthy coffee pot & struggling mini fridge that eventually got everything cold.
All in all my stay was better than expected considering the negative reviews about the thin walls. So I was proactive in my attempt to get the highest floor. There's 15!!! So I didn't complain.
When I plugged in my international adapter then my multi outlets with 3 outlets & 2 usb-c, I blew a fuse & lost most electricity!!! I asked the front desk to send someone to reset the circuit as if I know what I'm talking about. Someone came right up, tested the outlet, reset & I was back up & running. I then used a different multi outlet with less options. Dodged that issue.
I took a chance & ordered breakfast. Mini pancakes arrived barely warm, sitting on raspberry sauce, side of chocolate. Barely ate 1. The best part other than the city view & watching the traffic at 4 way intersections without stop signs, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the 'call to pray' from the mosques across the city. All in all, shockingly if this hotel is their idea of 5 stars, I'd stay here again.
