I had this hotel stay arranged by a hair clinic, for 2 nights. I was given an early check in at…read more5:30p & appreciated that, instead of 5p. I was ecstatic to get rest on the 10th floor without stomping over my head & noise from any other guests - I saw none on my floor. The room was nice with 2 doubles, large walk in shower in a nice bathroom. No face towels - so I knew to bring my own. No microwave so I brought my personal crockpot. But there was a disgustingly filthy coffee pot & struggling mini fridge that eventually got everything cold. All in all my stay was better than expected considering the negative reviews about the thin walls. So I was proactive in my attempt to get the highest floor. There's 15!!! So I didn't complain. When I plugged in my international adapter then my multi outlets with 3 outlets & 2 usb-c, I blew a fuse & lost most electricity!!! I asked the front desk to send someone to reset the circuit as if I know what I'm talking about. Someone came right up, tested the outlet, reset & I was back up & running. I then used a different multi outlet with less options. Dodged that issue. I took a chance & ordered breakfast. Mini pancakes arrived barely warm, sitting on raspberry sauce, side of chocolate. Barely ate 1. The best part other than the city view & watching the traffic at 4 way intersections without stop signs, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the 'call to pray' from the mosques across the city. All in all, shockingly if this hotel is their idea of 5 stars, I'd stay here again.

Hotel Name: "The Buffet of Broken Dreams"…read more Rating: 1/5 stars (and that's being generous) I honestly thought I was walking into a decent hotel with a promise of an "all-you-can-eat buffet." I should have known better. The only thing "all-you-can-eat" here was my patience--because I spent more time waiting for food than actually eating it. Let's talk about the buffet. I've seen more food on a toddler's plate than what was served here. "Baby portions" doesn't even begin to describe it. It's as if the hotel staff were testing out what it feels like to starve someone to death slowly, one microscopic serving at a time. The portions are so small, you could convince a toddler it's their first meal after a week of fasting, and they'd still be left crying for more. I don't know if I was supposed to nibble at my food like a confused mouse or if I was being hazed by a sadistic chef.

Our room was well appointed and the breakfast buffet had so many choices. The only disappointing thing was we had to leave and couldn't stay forever. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to return!

I almost never give a hotel 5 stars, but this time it is due praise. The staff at this hotel is…read morereally 1st rate. Front desk, valet, bar, restaurant, all of them. We were there for three nights and it was the perfect hotel for the Asian side. The dinner and breakfast was well worth the cash. The spa and gym were clean and bright and the staff very sweet. The couple's Spa package will leave you the cleanest the two of you have ever been. Really. If you are going to Istanbul for work or a visit and not concerned with the sites around Sultanahmet Square or the Grand Bazaar, then this is the hotel for you. If this will be your first time in Istanbul, I would recommend another hotel, closer to the old part of the city on the European side of the Bosphorus. If you have a day and want to go over, then a taxi will cost you about 80 lira with an additional 5 lira bridge toll. Of the hotel runs a shuttle to the local metro that you can take for around 10 Lira each way. Get coins at the front desk as the ticket machine said no to bills.
