I scored a good deal on Groupon, picked up a bottle of wine, and we headed to the studio on a Friday night. We got to use the airbrush and even spray paint on our master pieces this time. And, as always, Alex made the night fun, engaging, and creative, and we all ended up with a great painting of happy little trees to take home and brag about. Now, can I remember everything we did? Paint, scavenger hunt, paint, view a couple short videos of Alex's work (amazing), paint, roof view of Boise and foothills, paint, and adding a layer to the splatter paint room. That is what the problem is with all of the museums in Canyon County. You know they are there, but you have to depend on one website about Canyon County for hours and hopefully the admission. When you first enter it is a little bit awkward because it is like you are entering someone's property. If you continue to journey inside you can see a train set and touristy things to buy that is Idaho related. This area is impressive because they have a wider variety of books about the history of Idaho than Barnes and Noble. I bought a book there by Brigham Madsen who was well known for writing books about Southern Idaho and the Bear River Massacre. They have this cool display of old dresses from I believe the 1800s and the early 1900s. I even saw some tea cups made especially for men with mustaches. I will have to post pictures; I thought it was pretty funny. They have plenty of the same things as everyone else like cameras, typewriters, and old kitchen essentials, but I like looking at these kind of items. I realize how far we have came since many of the inventions were created. This museum is probably one of the tiniest in Idaho and Canyon County. There is there area where people used to purchase their tickets to ride the train then you go outside where there are a few sheds and you can look inside and see that they have more old items.They have some interesting items in what I call the garage. Inside there are old ovens, farming equiment, signs, and old medical equipment. More people should check out the Nampa Train Depot. There is a little bit of history about trains here and Idaho. I think this is a good place for those who are obsessed with trains like my dad is. The admission is only a couple bucks and an interesting building to tour in Nampa.

Sometimes they read books or draw and it feels more like a daycare class. We've been to other ballet organizations but prefer this one. Payments, performance tickets, and costumes are organized. I was given a lot of individual attention and instruction as Im not a very good dancer. I do feel that I was not meeting the expectations of my instructor and that I was simply not a good fit for this studio. If you go to this studio you should perhaps have thick skin and understand the expectations are high. The group is also small and I honestly felt like an outsider. That being said, this is what happened that has left me so upset with my final experience with Blue Moon Haven. I accidentally took someones boots after class and left mine. When I found out, I was unable to drive at the time and asked the person to come to my house (less than 3 miles away) and get them. When they arrived I brought the boots out to them with a fresh baked cinnamon roll, tea, and an appology. It was a honest mistake and I thought it was settled. A few days later Dana messaged me and treated me like a criminal and inconsiderate person. I was mortified! Honestly, I felt like I was back in school and being picked on. If this is such a huge matter then they should have lockers available to students. Otherwise we could just be gracious and accept accidents happen. I am very sorry for the accident, but felt that the treatment I recieved was not deserved. If you are new to dance and sensitive like myself then you should probably go elsewhere. I changed my review to 2 stars because after sleeping on it I do feel I need to express that I did gain a love of dance...even though I'm not very good at it and they did work hard to teach me. Regarding the situation with the boots and how it was handled though, it was extremely unprofessional and very hurtful to me personally.
