Unintentionally stumbled upon during a summer drive into Frensham, The Sculpture Park turned out to be one of our best discoveries to date.
Set into several acres of sprawling, peaceful woodland, the park feels a million miles from civilisation. Although the sculptures themselves have been thoughtfully laid out, they look and feel very organic in their surroundings.
My favourite thing about the park is the range of styles of the sculptures and the way they sit so effortlessly beside one another despite their often huge differences. It is the only place I have ever been where I have seen life sized circus elephants balancing on giant balls in the same setting as a herd of grazing dinosaur skeletons and a giant winged creature made of corks.
It's a great day out for all ages and I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. read more
