$15 for parking. The concessions are disappointing. The attractions had long lines, so it's a good idea to wear comfortable shoes since you'll be standing for a while. The sets were alright, and the actors do their best to try to scare you. Younger folks, such as teenagers in the crowd definitely looked pretty scared. The hayride was entertaining, even though the seats were uncomfortable. I don't think I would come back here since it was quite underwhelming.

Brought the kids and their friends to Scream Zone this past Sunday. Bought vouchers on Groupon ($25 vs $34 for triple haunt). With Groupon you need to purchase for a certain day and there are no refunds..so make sure you know when you're going! it was the first time for 2 of my daughters friends. Hay ride...it's more funny than scary ...but yes entertaining. none of the girls were scared (great first thing to do if you have kid who scare easily) then we did the 2 mazes....As far as i'm concerned...even trying to allow myself to be surprised or scared....these mazes are not scary ...not even a little bit. My son and husband are on the same page as me.. the girls (8th graders) well...they had some surprises and jumps. the 2 who had never been to any maze ...ever...they were actually scared. My daughter goes to six flags every year...and went from mortified to enjoying those...so this wasn't scary for her. That being said...it's close to home and convenient for a fun evening out. Next year...i won't spend money on myself...will just drive the kids there and back...and wait for them next weekend...knotts scary farm!!!!

They really nailed the covid safe from your car Halloween event! Great work on the sets, props, actors, flow, safety, concessions and just overall good time! They had monsters galore scaring my husband and I as I drove slowly through the attraction. Great job actors!!! Only one felt really inappropriate when the actor coughed at me because of the plague. That actually took me out of the fun quite a bit because there an actual pandemic so don't cough or pretend cough in my direction please. Other than that one moment I had a lot of fun!!!

    Of course we dressed up;)

After the hayride, go to the Karnevil, which is an inside maze where you'll be repeated startled and frightened.

It was pretty sweet then and every bit as fun now that it is down in Mission Valley. I purchased tickets online (VIP for my son and I) tickets for this event were $40 each. We arrived around 8:30 and while it was busy there wasn't really huge lines. Since it is Halloween weekend I'm thinking it will be a lot more crowded. I do recommend buying tickets online prior to heading down as they do sell out. Each night there are a limited amount of regular tickets available at the entrance booth as well as VIP upgrades (you just pay the difference). There were three walk through experiences, each one better than the other. Lots of familiar scenes from your favorite scary movies. They also let small groups through at a time so there are plenty of scares to share with everyone. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and make the experience that much better. The scareators both inside the experiences as well as wander through the event were all on point.  There was also a bar and a live band playing Friday night. You can even go axe throwing right in the parking lot. Plenty to keep everyone busy. Make sure you stop at the zombie photo op outside the mazes, they have plenty of props and even a fog machine setup where they will take a picture (or a few) with your cell phone for you. A pretty awesome momento to take with you. Whole experience took us about 30-45 minutes to walk through.

At the Entrance, I was already jumped scared by PEGGY the CLOWN ;). I don't go inside their scary attractions and I'm just always the person who waits on the Bench and is just there to pay for everything they need. But these MONSTERS around this DISTURBANCE are making their job well by not leaving me Alone ;). So I just ended up going to my car and waiting for them if they need to buy something or anything they want to buy. I went back again inside the DISTURBANCE, my son, my husband, and his friends were still inside the mazes and I continued to be chased by the Monsters while waiting for my group. We like the place , at least something for a change this year. Plus my son said their Mazes are very interactive.

A group of close to 300 attended on the opening Sunday during the last weekend of September. After picking up a VIP pass in the admission area, we were escorted by workers to a pavilion near the back of the facility for a pre-reception before the festivities began. Several tables were set up with various food and drink offerings. Part of our package included two free drinks from the mobile bar. The following were the savory bites that we sampled... * Chicken Flaming Hot Cheeto Bites * Chips with Cheese Sauce, Barbacoa, and Pickled Jalapenos * Devil Sliders * Mac & Cheese (regular and hot crumble) * Spaghetti Pocket The dessert offerings included churros and a parfait cup that contained a very sweet pudding mix that I don't believe anyone was able to completely finish. The chicken meat was pretty juicy which I consumed after stripping away the exterior. The meat and cheese sauce with the nacho chips were also decent. There was a photo booth available for us to mug for shots with or without props. I liked how well spaced the seating was which facilitated mingling with the other attendees. As the clock approached 7:00, we exited and headed towards the Carnival Stage where a brief Opening Scaremony was held. After that concluded, everyone started dispersing to visit the attractions that featured five Haunted Houses, seven Scare Zones, and six Vile Vignettes. Three of the large rides were also operating. I managed to try the Electric Eel and Emperor multiple times. There was too much ground to cover in just four hours so we prioritized the haunted houses. Thank goodness the VIP pass shortened the wait time to enter them. I didn't find any of the five to be particularly scary. Three of the haunted houses did have a speakeasy located inside where we stopped at each one. At 10 pm, a Monster Stomp show from a troop of performers was held at the Nautilus Amphitheater. The Yelp group was afforded the opportunity to sit in the middle section of bleachers. The music and choreography were pretty impressive. I stayed for only part of the performance because I wanted to take advantage of the short lines for the rides. For someone that has never attended a theme park Halloween event, I thought the whole production was solid. Thank you to Hannah and Yelp SD for spending much time to arrange the logistics of such a large group event.

Can't believe we have been missing out all these years (I believe this is their 15th year) We had VIP entry for 7pm and at 1st I thought I could have saved some money and gone general entry but ended up the extra cost was well worth the money. The general entry line wasn't super long at 1st but for sure it started getting packed. We were 1st in line and eager to check everything out and get some good scares. The trial is a bit uneven but is well lit and actually not too bad to walk. The scareators were amazing, the props as well and the staff superb! The scares are enhanced knowing you are literally walking through the buildings and area of the old amusement park. We were in the first group to enter and what I liked not is we were spaced out. Even though there were roughly 8 of us we all got a chance to get scared. There was no overcrowding or trying to fit too many people through at once. It was perfect. Parking is free and easy in and out (dirt lot but we'll maintained). Depending on the time and date you go might help factor in which ticket option you want. There are three options, general line, fast pass, and VIP. Each allow you to stand in or bypass the line. Later in the season I would for sure go with fast pass at least. I can picture this haunt getting busier. Overall a great local haunt, well priced, easy to get to and awesome people. Can't wait to go back!

Yeah we did have to wait a little after opening to actually get in, but it wasn't that bad, and it was opening night after all. One thing I would suggest is having some Halloween music to listen to while in the queue. All of the actors were so cool and did a great job. It was a nice long experience and I liked not being rushed through (at Seaworld and some other big ones they had security guards everywhere which kinda ruined the atmosphere). I'm so grateful that there were sections of the trail where I was just completely alone. The roominess of this haunt really helps sell it, along with the location in the mountains. It's a beautiful place to be even when you're scared.
