Although they were busy (they are always busy so that must say a lot) they diagnosed and fixed my problem, even though busy, because they knew it needed fixing there and then. My daughter and husband went to school with the owner Chris so I feel I/We have a lot of trust in this garage and not get ripped off as does happen at dealerships. Even after having a warranty the dealership always said something needed doing which meant at the end of the day I usually was paying for the service/mot which was supposed to be included as part and parcel of the package I bought. Chris and Alan are two of the nicest guys you could ever meet, very friendly and very helpful. Would certainly recommend this garage to anyone.

I am so used to petrol stations being tiny places where you can barely move around because there is…read morea queue of people waiting to pay for their petrol. This is definitely not one of those. Even from the outside you can see that this petrol station is quite nice. We stopped to get some snacks on the way to the park. It was very convenient as it has a bit more than the average petrol station as well as a Subway. I like that more petrol stations are offering options like Subway... just because it is a convenience store, doesn't mean I want to eat burgers and chips all the time. And if you don't want Subway, you can pick up other sandwiches, veg, and fruit. All of it looked quite fresh and enticing! In addition, they offer Costa Coffee and a small selection of bakery items. And as we were waiting in the queue at Subway, we were able to connect to the free WiFi. When it is busy, finding parking if you are not filling up can be a bit tricky, but I find that to be a problem at most petrol stations. Overall, it is a really nice petrol station and I wish it were closer to us so it could be our usual petrol station.

They actually took the effort to get to know you over a period of time, and it's a shame in some ways we moved elsewhere in Bolton and now don't use them as much. I wouldn't have said they were the cheapest place in town -- the petrol always seemed cost a couple of pence more than the lowest price locally, and as usual if you want to buy anything else there you'll pay heavily for the convenience factor -- but if you want a friendly petrol station, this is definitely the place to go. Despite my not having booked it in they called to say it was fixed just a couple of hours later and charged me a very reasonable price for the service I especially as I then couldnt collect the car until the following afternoon and they dont have a particularly large parking area around the site. They also advertise MOT's with a free retest, though this is common, while I was there they had at least 8 other cars pass through and four mechanics at work. Highly recommended.

WILL NEVER AGAIN USE THIS GARAGE My car was booked in for a…read moreSaturday (Booked in advance) And was told I will have it back by noon. Was told someone will collect my car around 09.00-09.15. By 10.45 I phoned the garage and was told someone is on the way, about 30 minutes later someone came to collect the car and was told you'll have it back in a couple of hours. (It will be sorted) !!! The phrase "It will be sorted" was used a lot. By around 4pm I phoned the garage to find out where my car was and was told someone will phone you back ! Just after 4pm I got a call from the garage owner informing me they had sent the wrong part (Both n/s & o/s work was being done) one side was ok, the other side was wrong - I will have to put the old part back on... give me 30 minutes and you'll have it back. My car was delivered back to me after 5pm, the mechanic who brought it back said the garage owner will phone you first thing on the Monday morning to "get it sorted" Monday morning came with no phone calls ! Mid morning I phoned the garage, the owner was not in (He was in a meeting) The mechanic said he will try and "Sort it" in the afternoon when a ramp was free, he also said the correct part had come in. After 12 I phoned again, The mechanic said the owner was not in and won't be in today for personal reasons, I will try and get it sorted this afternoon. I told the mechanic I need to know when it will be done, yet again "It Will Be Sorted" was used again. I had things myself to do that day and told the garage I will give it till 3.30pm. Yet again I phoned the garage around 4pm needing to know when (It will get sorted) I was told bring it down next morning (Tuesday) and we will squeeze it in to get the job done "Don't worry it will be sorted" I explained I needed it done as I was going away on the Thursday. Tuesday morning came and I arrived at the garage at 10am, the owner of the garage was in the reception and told me I have just left you a voicemail about an hour ago "Stating he couldn't do it today, they had sent the wrong part (again) ! we will phone you later to arrange to get it done. Frustrated I left and went home, yes there was a message left (30 minutes ago, not an hour- as I was still home an hour ago). At the end of the message the owner added Don't phone us, we will phone you to get it sorted. At around 5pm on Tuesday with no phone calls from the garage I phoned them and was told Bring it down first thing tomorrow (Wednesday) we will get it sorted...... I reminded them again I was away on Thursday so definitely needed it done. Don't worry it will be sorted !!!!! Wednesday morning came I dropped my car at the garage at 08.30. Gave the keys to the owner and told him I need it back by noon (As I had to be somewhere at 01.50pm) - IT WILL BE DONE BY 12 "He said" I got a phone call just before 12, your car is done, I'm just doing the paperwork. It will be ready in 10 minutes. "I was cheeky and asked will I get any discount" for all the inconvenience. Was told 'No' we have had to cancel other jobs to get yours done, it has cost us money she said, it was the suppliers fault !!! OK - No harm in asking anyway. I got to the garage at 12noon, and was told it will be ready in 10 minutes (take a seat whilst you wait)..... and wait..... and wait till eventually it was ready around 12.45pm. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE - NEVER AGAIN - JUST HOPE THE JOB WAS DONE PROPERLY.

It's pretty big as well, so fills up a bit slower than the other car parks around. Despite being so close to town, it's kind of out of the way too, so make sure all your valuables are out of site as it can be quiet during the middle of the day. Railway Triangle Car Park car park is cheap as well. Reasonable and close to town. Gets the job done basically.
