Been wanting to try their pastries for some time now but Everytime I've attempted to go; there was…read morea line around the block. Parking is not terrible but there is metered street parking available if you can find a vacant one. Was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in and the smell of fresh baked goods fills the room. Decided to try the baguette, croissant and oatmeal cookie. The croissant was flaky on the exterior, soft on the inside, and buttery rich. The oatmeal cookie is well balanced and not too stiff or soft.. Will have to be back and try the other menu items.

Very popular bakery in Santa Monica. Would I say its worth it? There's a lot of good bakeries in…read morethe area so depends on how much you hate/don't mind waiting, but Petitgrain is very good if you order right. Came here on a Saturday with a friend around 9 am and want to say we waited for about 30 minutes. We decided to try three items (ranked from favorite to least): - Pistachio Lemon Croissant: This was delicious! If you like pistachios and/or a twice-baked croissant, get this. I'd go back and order it again happily. - Cinnamon roll: It looked a little dry so I was skeptical when we chose it, but it was actually really good! The filling made it still moist even though it's croissant dough (I think?) vs a broiche. - Blueberry scone: This looked amazing, but it was so dry. A real disappointment, we threw it away. Overall a good spot but not everything is a hit. I'd go back if a friend wanted to and happily eat the croissant. However, if in a time crunch I'd go elsewhere.
