The old building is charming. The selection of cotton quilting fabric is huge. The fabric is logically arranged by theme and color. There are a few selections of garment fabrics and upholstery fabrics. This is not a discount store, but the prices are fair and reasonable. I can highly recommend the store. There were so many great colors to choose from! I had to make a quick decision because I was short on time. The woman who helped me was so gracious to wind the yard right away and check me out. Two days later I went in again and the back part of the store was abuzz with everyone knitting and laughing together. What a delightful place! I found them quite light on furniture/upholstery fabrics -- they do have a selection of mostly gaudy prints that you have to special order -- and they didn't have heavy hand upholstery needles, and I am taking from the reaction I got to asking for such items this is very much a clothes-and-drapes sewing center. They do have some things like burlap and nylon it may be hard to get elsewhere, in case you're making your own flag or gunny sack. So there's that.
