The house was huge and had everything you could possibly need. There were 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master suite was upstairs and had 2 private balconies, a jetted tub and tons of space. There was a nice 4 person hot tub on the deck and picnic tables and a grill. My parents came up and stayed one night and we had a blast grilling and enjoying the outdoor space. We were walking distance to the little clubhouse which has a pool but it was not open due to Covid. I think it opened July 1st though. We did some hiking and checked out the Taylorsville Lake Marina which was a 5 minute drive. They had kayaks, canoes and boats to rent. Daniel and I rented a 2 person kayak for a day. Unfortunately, after about 30 minutes on the lake, we got caught in a storm. But, the workers sent a pontoon boat to rescue us and gave us a credit to come back for another Kayak day. Super fun experience. Best part- it is only a 35 minute drive from Louisville.

There was no notification of this and if we had not inadvertently discovered this we would have probably been SOL. This is the news publication we discovered. Ultimately they sent us a one sentence cancellation email after multiple attempts to contact them with no response. No mention of reimbursement or anything other than "your reservation has been cancelled." We disputed the charge on our credit card and will hopefully recover the money. One word...Wow!!! I…read moream afraid to post this review, worried we may never get to book here again if it gets too busy. We needed a quiet, peaceful, romantic weekend away and we found it. If that is what you want consider coming here to unplug for a few days. Nice modern, new cabins with... no internet, no satellite TV, and spotty cellphone service. Maybe not for everyone, but just what we needed. The view is fantastic. Nestled high on the bank of the Ohio River looking east into Kentucky. I had no idea Indiana had anything like this view. The hot tub is also a big plus. I got to watch an amazing sunrise one morning while enjoying it. The location puts you 30 minutes to an hour from lots of great stuff to do as well. Caving, hiking, exploring, shopping, eating... plenty to do if you want to get out for a bit. The host was great and super friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon. Note: there are no laundry facilities either, so keep that in mind for your planning and packing.

Single Tony cabins with showers, tv, and air conditioning! Ours had two queen beds. We will definitely be back next year! This is very close to the Lake and I can see fisherman staying here. We got a free upgrade to the next cabin up from the one we asked for. It fit the 4 of us perfectly. It was so nice there and the cottages all looked lovely. The prices for their cottages and boat rentals are perfectly reasonable. It is defiantly a place I will go again. In fact, the four of use are planning to go there this time next year.
