Within…read morea week, we discovered that none of it worked properly -- the player itself was defective, and the discs either froze or failed to play entirely. When we brought everything back, we explained that we weren't just returning items -- we were returning non-functional equipment. Despite that, we were told no refunds -- store credit only. I can respect store credit for simple returns or buyer's remorse, but when you sell defective hardware and media, cash refunds should be standard. This wasn't a preference -- it was a product failure. We will use the store credit because we have no other choice. But once that's done, we will not be returning.

The one thing I would say to anyone wishing to shop here is that, though the price for a book (or books) can be less than thrifty, is that you're paying for quality and hot-off-the-press material that will last longer, and make the one reading feel his or her money has been invested well.
