And you're not in a closet sized room, their employees speak English fluently, don't waste your money here, biggest mistake of my life. I had to report them to the better business bureau, that's how bad it was. They did a shitty job applying the lashes and tore my natural lashes out when the fake ones shed, that's not supposed to happen and as for the owner replying the my review- I tried to get a refund or for her to fix the situation and she fixed my lashes but they all fell out in 2 days.... try lash belle, and they offer 20% off on the second visit, 30% on the 3rd and so on, I'm so glad I never have to go back here. And btw the 5 star review I wrote was after most my natural lashes fell out from their shitty application, I was just relieved they fixed it and I didn't have to look like an alien with no lashes. 3 days later they all fell out and that's when I contacted the better business bureau

First, when I…read morecalled the girl on the phone said there were 3 options $145, $195 and the other one that we decided I wouldn't be interested in. She said there were photos on Instagram and I told her I would pick. The $145 was called the "classic" and I don't remember the name of the others. I couldn't find any photos of the $195 version so when I went in I told them I wanted the classic. First of all, the whole process took 2 hours. And then they charged me $195 and said that's what they told me when I booked. No they didn't. Then these lashes lasted the shortest time of any I've ever had and they were extremely itchy which I've never experienced before. Anyway, there are much better places to get eyelashes in westchester. I would literally go anywhere else but here. Edited to add: I got your message. I believe my appointment was at 4:00 on 8/28. My full name is Virginia.

I had the "detox facial with anti-aging neck & décolleté treatment" from La'Shawn yesterday. It was…read morea great experience and I wish I've tried it earlier. Before the appointment, she reached out to learn more about my skin concerns and current regimen. I told her my biggest skin issues were large pores, sagging skin and a dull complexion. At the appointment, she started the with dermaplaning, which removes peach fuzzes and dead skin cells. My skin instantly felt softer and more breathable. She then did a mint and papaya enzyme peel. The enzyme tingled a little but nothing unbearable and felt really refreshing and nourishing afterwards. She then removed the black heads. But first she applied a partial facial mask to loosen up the sebum in my pores and as a result there's very little pinching and squeezing to remove the blackheads unlike my previous experience with facials. I really loved how painless that was and the results are just as great! Meanwhile, she massaged my shoulders and neck and applied a décolleté peel off mask. she ended the session with a detoxifying charcoal mask. After the 90 minutes treatment, my skin looked taut and bright. The day after (today), my pores are visibly smaller, skin feels even firmer than right after the facial, and my complexion brighter with a healthy glow. Even my husband commented on how much softer my skin feels. Below is the before and after (day after) pictures I took. Even as a makeup artist, I'm not used to thinking a facial can make such a difference, but after my visit with La'Shawn, I'm a believer. I highly recommend La'Shawn's services if you looking for a visible difference to your skin in one visit.

It was my first time getting Extreme Lashes put on and had no clue what to expect. La'Shawn took her time to make sure they were done right and to my liking. La'Shawn is so sweet. I love my lashes and I love La'Shawn....I will definitely be back there for my fills!

my dissatisfaction, the pricing became another issue. Initially, my invoice was increased to $365…read moreunder the assumption that I would be purchasing and using Taylor's hair. However, since I did not use her bundle, the total was adjusted to $267. Even at that adjusted price, the service was not worth the cost given the outcome. I expressed my dissatisfaction before leaving the salon and again afterward via text message. I explained clearly that I was unhappy with the results and that the style did not meet my expectations or the standard that had been promised. Unfortunately, I did not receive any apology or meaningful attempt to resolve the situation.

Note that I'm writing from a WHOLE other account since she blocked me from commenting on my initial…read moreaccount, so that emphasizes my point that there was no conflict resolution.  I'm going to respond to this because I don't appreciate my experience being minimized or misrepresented. Everything I stated in my original review is factual, and I have documentation, photos, messages, and receipts to support it. Before my appointment, I communicated clearly about my hair and the style I wanted. I sent photos of my natural hair and multiple reference pictures/videos of the exact look. I was told--clearly--that the style could be done. That is the entire reason I booked the appointment. When I arrived, I was not even serviced by the stylist I originally booked. I was taken by you instead. I gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming that as the owner, you would be more experienced. I again showed the style and explained the details: no part, minimal leave-out, wispy bang, soft layered finish. At that point, there should have been no confusion. I brought three bundles of 26" double-drawn hair, which is more than enough for a full quick weave. I was then told it wasn't enough and pressured to buy more hair--including a 16" bundle that did not match my lengths at all. That alone did not make sense. Instead, I went out of my way to purchase additional hair and have it delivered, which was an added expense and inconvenience that I should not have had to deal with. During the service, you repeatedly asked me where I wanted a part--even though the style I showed you had no part. That should have been a clear sign that the style was not being followed. Despite me explaining this multiple times, a side part was still created. From that moment, the foundation of the style was already wrong. The layering was not done correctly. The style required blended, detailed layers, and what I received looked uneven and unstructured. The technique used did not produce the look I asked for, and it was very clear by the end that the hair was not shaped properly. The service also took significantly longer than expected for a "quick weave," which further reflects the lack of efficiency and control during the process. Another major issue was the excessive use of product. I specifically spoke up about the wax stick being applied repeatedly because I did not want my hair to look greasy. That concern was dismissed, and the final result reflected exactly what I said would happen--my hair looked overly shiny and greasy instead of natural and polished. The bang was completely wrong. I clearly stated that I did not want a side bang. The style I requested had a light, wispy bang. Instead, I was left with a heavy, one-sided bang that did not fall properly due to the incorrect structure and track placement. Trying to fix that by cutting more was not a solution because the issue was not length--it was the way the style was built. Let's also address the condition of the install itself. Tracks were showing.Glue was visible. The finish was not clean or professional. Those are not "preference" issues. Those are basic quality issues that should not happen. The final result did not resemble the style I showed--at all. Now let's talk about professionalism. I expressed my concerns before leaving. I also followed up afterward to clearly communicate that I was unhappy with the result. At no point did I receive an apology, accountability, or a genuine attempt to fix the situation. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the response has been to downplay my experience, which is not acceptable. I was charged $267 for a style that I could not wear. I had an event that same night, and I did not even attend because of how my hair looked. I had to cover it with a hat. That defeats the entire purpose of getting my hair done. No client should leave a salon feeling that way--especially after clearly communicating what they wanted and being reassured it could be done. This is not about being "hard to please" or having unrealistic expectations. This is about:- Not receiving the service that was agreed upon- Being charged for work that did not meet professional standards- Having concerns dismissed during the process- And receiving no resolution afterward If the style could not be done, that should have been communicated upfront. I would have respected that and made a different decision. What is not acceptable is saying you can do something, charging for it, and then delivering something completely different. My review stands, and I have every right to share my experience so other potential clients can make informed decisions. Accountability matters, especially in a service-based business. BBB and PayPal will handle this moving forward. It's sad that you lied the way you did but that's expected from a person who has the amount of armpit hair growing from under your arms such as you do.
