My youngest son watched him and was ready for his first haircut when he was 1.5 years old (He's now 8) . He walked right to the chair and didn't cry. I did, of course, because my baby entered the toddler phase on his own with that haircut. I highly recommend him and his shop!

I'm not asking for anything extravagant at all!! And what I ask for she has done before without problem!! I never have a problem with any of the other ladies! Just her! And I also feel like she is charging what she wants to charge! I spent over 160$ for my last cateye short set + basic pedi. Mind you, I've never spent that for a long cateye set! EVER!! This last time was the LAST TIME!! I got a basic pedi and a CLEAR (not by choice, but because she refuse to do what I ask) med/long set ALMOST 130$ I will NEVER BE BACK!! Well it's true to the name....it's....Just 4 Him…read more This is your mans' man dream salon. Professional stylists, a free Cold one while you're waiting and super easy on the pocket book (aka...Cheap!) This is one of several locally owned locations that have now began to spring up all over the country. It's concept is simple, a guy needs his haircut, why not make it the most comfortable setting. Both my guys, the Pirate and young one, frequent this Just 4 Him location. The walls are covered with several flat screen TV with every kind of sport you could possible want to watch as well as TVs at each cutting station. There are two couches in the waiting area with a gazillion mags of all sorts for either men or their lady friends whom are waiting to gaze at.....Are you thirsty, the gals will be happy to serve you a frosty cold beer as you wait or while you are sitting in the chair. Jenna is the lead stylist and has quite a following and don't let her good looks fool you, this gal knows Mens' hair and how to cut it. She meticulous to say the least, though OCD might be a better description for her attention to detail. Karla is a close second and the Pirate's favorite......both gals are easy on the eyes and very good at their craft. The young one's hair runs me $20.00 (that includes a generous tip) and the Pirate about $25.00, but the prices are cheaper than that even with a modest tip. On a recent trip the Pirate had his hair cut, eyebrows groomed, a youthful dye and wash for only $40.00.....I thought that was a bargain....and he probably had three beers while he was there...... Fridays get busy as do the weekends, but the parking lot is a great way to assess how many are are inside...... The Pirate's been offshore now for awhile, guess he'll be visiting his girls soon!

The shop is conveniently located about 1 block north of the Lapalco/Manhattan intersection. Some may be mistakenly put off by the arabic script on half of the shopfront, but take it from a Iraq War Vet: There is no reason to feel uncomfortable about arabic. In the case of this barber shop, they are just trying to draw in a broader range of customers. Mr. Aziz Harb and Mr. Eyad Ghannan run a clean, spacious, well-lit, and professional hair cutting establishment. Unlike most barbers, they are open every day, and frankly their opening hours can't be beat. Their rates are reasonable - about the average of what I've seen in this area. Although there are four barber's stations inside, I was the only customer inside at midday on a Thursday. I was served by Mr. Ghannan, a Jordanian-American who speaks fluent English and Arabic. Unlike many barbers, he took the time to understand what I wanted before ever picking up a cutting tool. He asked specific questions at the start and pasued several times throughout to make sure I was getting the cut I had in mind. he also carried on the sort of pleasant conversation I would expect from any good barber. The cut was finished to my exact specifications in less than 20 minutes. I was impressed with the care and concern Mr. Ghannan showed for his work. Of the entire experience the only fault I could possibly find was the fact that the shop doesn't take credit cards. OVerall, I was very satisfied with Aziz Barber Shop and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a top shelf haircut without the hassle of going to into downtown New Orleans.
