The picture I posted is of the Fanad Head Lighthouse which is just a few hundred yards down the hill and from which the pub gets it's name. It's a friendly, cosy pub, with a decidedly family feel, as most pubs tend to be in Donegal. It's got parking out the back and serves great pub grub most of the day. They have a separate pool table area in its own room, with a large flatscreen, on which we watched the world cup final, amid the screams and shouts of our fellow drinkers. I only ever drink Guinness when I'm in the Republic of Ireland (it just tastes better) and the Guinness here was downright perfect. Absolutely gorgeous. Couldn't fault it.
