The picture I posted is of the Fanad Head Lighthouse which is just a few hundred yards down the hill and from which the pub gets it's name. It's a friendly, cosy pub, with a decidedly family feel, as most pubs tend to be in Donegal. It's got parking out the back and serves great pub grub most of the day. They have a separate pool table area in its own room, with a large flatscreen, on which we watched the world cup final, amid the screams and shouts of our fellow drinkers. I only ever drink Guinness when I'm in the Republic of Ireland (it just tastes better) and the Guinness here was downright perfect. Absolutely gorgeous. Couldn't fault it. The bar staff are really friendly and full of chat. A good place for a pint when the Donegal weather turns bad, as it usually does!
