Opened a little later than the time on Google but was well worth the wait. Joe was so nice and recommended some of the best drinks I've ever had. He chatted with us, laughed with us, and told us about some places to visit while we're in town.... he's the definition of a good bartender. I love a good swing (and a good drink ) and Joe went the extra mile and took a couple of pictures for us. And the swings have back support!!! I would highly recommend hitting this spot up to just hang and swing for a little while. I didn't try any for cause we had just eaten but the pizza looked good from a distance.

Best location dive hut. This place has charm and character. There are bar stools, and swings. I ordered a pina colada. The blender was acting crazy, didn't want to work for the bartender. I recall his name being Chris. Given the unfortunate circumstances for him, he made the best of everything. He ended up making me a painkiller. This place was pretty fun. It's literally surrounded by all sorts of shops and food spots.

The rum hut was a super fun experience, from the swings for seating to drawing on the bar in sharpie (with permission from the bartender) this place is a must stop, especially for tourists to grab a refreshing beverage (alcoholic or not). Bartender was super friendly too!

When on a cruise to St. Thomas. We stopped at the rum hut. The rum hut was relaxing and the staff was very accommodating. I was unsure what to order. The waiter/bartender discussed the menu was not update but asked what type alcohol I liked. After discussing my preferences the waitress brought out a drink that was amazing. I completely enjoyed this location and will come back in the future.

It's our third time here since 2010, second time under its current name. We come here more for nostalgia purposes rather than the quality of the drinks. The service is typically B+ I would say but the experience is the reason you want you visit. It's a great in and out bar if the weather is good and if you get a helpful bartender. The style of the building is very touristy and fun.

Great atmosphere with great drinks. Not too busy as some of the other bars so the bartenders were able to get your drinks quick. The bartenders are very entertaining.

Lol this place is classic. Cars put bar orders in while turning the corner - get delivery at the corner of the outdoor bar. Cool crew - plus made some friends looking for a mall parking spot. ;))

I liked the friendly and fast service at this hut, which is located just outside the Havensight port area. They offered free wi-fi, a mix of stools and swings, four TVs, tropical background music, and a menu featuring pizzas. Overall, very nice.

If you go to the Rum Hut, expect drinks AND a show. Monty is quite the character. He even went as far as to call my friend and I his future ex-wives. I've seen other reviews that criticize the service, so a good sense of humor is recommended. This is a man with quick wit and the most captivating stories. The drinks were also great (absolutely loaded with booze). The Rum Hut was among the most memorable of my experiences in St. Thomas. You gotta go!

Delicious drinks and friendly, entertaining service. Didn't catch the bartenders name but he had great humor, witty, and made some great drinks. Enjoyed our time and wish we could come back sooner.

We made a reservation, but honestly it didn't seem totally necessary when we went. From the moment we sat down, the staff was on top of everything and so friendly. You could tell they really care about the experience, and everything flowed perfectly without feeling rushed. For drinks, we ordered the Vessup and the Carib and both were so good. The Vessup especially stood out, the cream on top was so smooth and delicious and just made the whole drink. They brought out fresh bread to start and it was so good (always a win in my book). For dinner, we went with the lobster with potato and broccolini and it was incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were just on point. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, this was easily one of our favorite dinners on the trip. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for something a little nicer but still with that island feel.

Hand down the best place to eat in the area. It's very small, but packs a punch with great customer service, cool drinks and outstanding food. Best to try and get in on their off hours to get a table without a wait. We literally ate here 4 times when we were on the island. An absolute MUST to order is their Bacon Jalapeno tater kegs! OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! LOL You can ring in another way too! On your trip to the john, call in sick to work and stay on the island! You're enticed too by the retro phone sitting a top a keg outdoors as well. Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Perfect vibe, casual dinning and great accommodations by the staff (for our big party) who were so friendly and professional. This is a must experience spot when visiting St Thomas.

Duffy's provides free parking which is a rarity and right at noon, the mall lot had tons of open spots. We both ordered burgers, one with the standard fries and one with onion rings. It took a good half hour for the food to be delivered but when we got it, it was hot and cooked to our specs. Fries were crispy. Burger was thick with a nice crisp, almost tasted like a smash burger but thicker. Service was good. It was the one spot where we didn't have to pay for a refill of soda. They were playing the best music! No waitlist or host so you have to linger and wait for someone to leave if you need a table and they are full. Great stop.

Our flights routed through Atlanta to St. Thomas; there are no flights to St. John, only a ferry from St. John (or St. Croix), so we stayed one overnight at the Marriott Frenchman's Cove, which is next-door on the peninsula from the Westin, which is where you find Luna Mar; Frenchman's Cove offers rides in the hotel shuttles, and you can also walk... note that the short distance is hilly, and there are some blind spots but can also hear the cars coming, so if you walk, you should apply common sense and use all five physical senses and you'll be ok. Luna Mar, at the Westin, is a fantastic property, with wonderful views of Charlotte-Amalie and the rest of St. Thomas in one direction, and a view out into the ocean to the other direction. Luna Mar is an open-air restaurant... yet no insects! Unsure how that was/is possible, but we do confirm that there were no insects the night we dined there. Luna Mar serves fantastic food, which I thoroughly enjoyed with my wonderful wife at great restaurant with amazing views - Aegean lemon chicken - "Roasted chicken, oregano-lemon sauce, warm potatoes & arugula salad" - Chicken and regular and purple potatoes... with green beans... atop small salad... fantastic all around... chicken crispy on outside and juicy inside; fantastic potatoes - Provence-style sea bass - "Cannelloni purée, romesco sauce, lemon-garlic broccolini, peperonata, olive oil Aaliya - thank you for serving us on our visit.
