First off, the salt room is located inside the St. Luke's Health and Wellness Center. There is parking in the front, on the side and in the back. I suggest parking in the back as the salt room is closer to the back door. Upon entering, it looks like a very nice spa-like atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and filled out my paperwork. I made a kids appointment for my son which comes with the complementary parent session- you get to go in with your kid. You can put your belongings in a provided locker, or they provided me a ziplock baggie for my things so they don't get covered in salt. She even gave me a separate baggie for my phone so I could use it while I was in there. The kid room we went into was small, has lots of toys, and 2 adult chairs along with a kiddie table/chairs. Tissues are provided as the salt acts as an expectorant. No shoes on the salt. They give you booties to go over your shoes. When you're ready, they turn on your salt fan and it blows salt into the air for you to breathe in. My ears were blocked when we started and they unblocked about 3/4 through our session. You do get salt on you. It's white salt. Bring a change of clothes if you're not cool with that. There are some circumstances when you should NOT use a salt room, so look that up prior to going. We will definitely be back!! Oh! And don't be like me and wear black pants.

Anytime your speaking with someone on the phone and they get loud and obnoxious next they begin to say things like(First of all) (Second of all). That behavior is ghetto and totally inappropriate. Jonathan definitely needs more training. That type of language maybe street appropriate. It should never be used in a professional setting.

This review is about their Dental Dept…read more I had an ear infection in December which caused balance issues - received antibiotics from Watson Clinic. At the end of the antibiotic treatment, my face started swelling and I started having tooth pain with a tooth that had a small piece broken off. I was not able to go to the dentist on Monday, 1/6, due to work - so called into Teledoc services. They put me on Amoxicillin for infection, but told me I needed to get to a dentist ASAP since Amoxicillin may help with the infection, but sometimes tooth infections can be tricky so it also may not. I was in bad pain Tuesday, 1/7, and called in to see if they had walk-in services - the help desk told me they would not accept anyone who arrived after 7:30, and to come in Wednesday morning on 1/8. I verified with them they are in network with my insurance, they said they were (Aetna) I get there early Wednesday morning and fill out the paperwork. The front desk then tells me they usually accept my insurance, but since their dentist had only been there 3 months, the only insurance that had gone through on her license is Medicaid and Medicare, and Aetna was still showing as "Pending", so everything would have to be out of pocket. They told me it usually takes 9 months for insurance to go through on the license. This sounds strange to me, but I was in pain and the infection was continuing for several days despite the antibiotics, so I was willing to pay out of pocket. I went out the waiting room again. I was called back after awhile and told that they would not examine me because I was already taking an antibiotic. I told them in confusion that something was wrong - the tooth infection developed while on an antibiotic, and that I was not seeing any relief from the Amoxicillin either. It was now a possibility the ear infection had been caused by the broken tooth now showing bad infection signs, which had caused me to pass out around Christmas. I told them I really needed the tooth checked out, which is why I was out of work and had called in advance. They had told me over the phone to come in because it sounded like an emergency. The assistant then told me that no matter what, they wouldn't see me because the only thing they would do is give me a prescription for Amoxicillin anyway. She said since I was already on it, there was no point of an exam. When I told her the antibiotics weren't helping, she basically accused me of antibiotic abuse - she said if I took too many on a regular basis, then my body wouldn't process them well. I told her I hadn't been on antibiotics for over five years, and I rarely am on the stuff, which is all true. She just shrugged. I told her the pain was horrendous and not getting better. She asked if I tried a Tylenol. I told her it had been days of pain and I had been doing several over the counter drugs - Advil, Aleve, Tylenol. I had been using Orajel, tea bags on the gum, and salt water rinses. I told her the facial swelling would not go down, the pain was just as bad, it was affecting other teeth, it was starting to hurt my ear again, and I was having complications. I told her I was told by the clinic on the phone they would examine me, so I took off work to come in. She just shrugged and said the only thing we'd do is give you Amoxicillin, so you need to leave since you're already on it. I guess they only care about prescriptions since they have an in-house pharmacy? I did thankfully find another place the same day that was able to get me in. The infection was very much active and worse than I thought - it was in four teeth and had infected past the gumline and they said was aggravating the ear. They had to pull teeth and do drainage and surgery, as well as more medication. I am thankful to find a dentist that agreed to see me despite being on antibiotics and saw through an exam that something was actually wrong that needed medical attention, which was the whole point of going up there in the first place. Sending me away with refusing to even look at the tooth is not safe, and the shrugging at me like I was just silly was irritating to say the least. I will not be going back there after being treated like that.

When I walked in I was greeted warmly. They took my information and I talked with them about the procedure. They answered all my questions. Dr. Puma Patel was the one who did the procedure. She and the nursing staff have great patient-centered communication and rapport. She and the nurses worked as a team to create and place the temporary crown. It took less than a half hour. On top of that, their estimate is Twice as much as other dentists, Over $6,400!!! Be aware they are scammers. they lie to get you in their office then pressure you by saying they use top of the line materials, so other dentists dont use good material?? I will not recommend these Dentists to anyone, even my dog.
