I came to Scott Brown Properties after doing a bit of research. Jordan was amazing and patient. She…read morestayed to show me properties even when I was late. She answered all my questions and my application was completed the process was very easy. I and my two littles love our new home, and when we showed Jordan the loose kitchen sink and the door that wouldn't close in the kitchen, she took photos and sent it off immediately. The apartments are older, (which is fine), but it is clean and reasonably priced. It appeared to be clean and quiet, and there was a lot of green space for the littles to run. I will update when I leave.

My experience yielded I had signed a contract and was called away out of state for a personal family emergency being the closest living relative. I was detained by further health crises for those in my personal life. In the meantime, I was told I had to fund the lease agreement I had signed 12/22. I explained that I would not be funding a leas agreement where I would not be occupying a property. The agent had his associate check with owner on their decision as to acceptance. I was informed that the owner would accept a later date in December. I made the advisement that I would not be returning to Denton by 12/31. I received a text - the associate had gone seemingly dark to my advisement with the agent now responding by text where we had used email and/or talking on the phone/in person meetings to date. I responded that there are three basic components to an agreement: offer, acceptance and consideration. No consideration, no agreement. I was once again advised by text to speak to the general manager. The general manager and I had a brief conversation where I laid out the above steps. I was advised if I wouldn't be taking the property, it would go back on the market. My professional history has yielded that market forces drive the transaction value. Customer confidence yields the viability to complete the iterative steps to bring a transaction to completion. Customer satisfaction brings the customer back again. In the spirit of "we only get one chance to make a good first impression," mine wasn't met owing to the disconnect and handing off of the transaction from what I was told was a single point of contact and an assigned person in their absence.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Westrom Group Property Management. My property had been…read moresitting vacant with very little activity, and after switching to Westrom, they secured a qualified 2-year tenant in about ONE WEEK, at a HIGHER rent than I previously had. I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. You haven't solved any problems for me to write a good review. I told you I would not put a good review in until I see changes. No changes on your end at all. Don't come on here and lie. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I will end with that. Anything you say after this I will come back with facts. Let's leave it alone and just make it to next August. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional. I am just covering myself. God bless

Now all that's left are a sour group of women. Two stars because poor unfriendly management and gate keeps breaking. Pros: Nice location near the square. Rarely any bug troubles as long as I put food away. Close to TWU Cons: expensive Right by the train. I can't sleep. I know that's not their fault. It's worth mentioning still. No visitor parking except if you are looking to lease. Since Zach left they won't offer parking passes for guests. Strict towing Gate had broken more times than I can count since moving in two years ago. Management takes several months to fix it only for it to break soon after. I do not recommend. Don't count on me staying here. I can only speak for Victoria station. Not the other apartments affiliated with Jack Bell Property Management.

The leak had to be "fixed" multiple times. By the time they came to repair the damage I had already packed all my things and was in the process of moving out. The water ruined tons of my personal property. Blue tooth speakers, hair tools. The management team refused to allow me to terminate my lease and sent me a bill for $4,000. I had to hire an attorney. The floors had what looked like mold under them and when I requested someone to come look at it they sent the maintenance guy who told me himself that he was not qualified to tell me weather it was mold or not. He also told me that pipes busting in this apartment building was a common occurrence. Also when I told the management I would not be leaving w good review upon moving out she called me "petty". She later knocked on my door to apologize but it was very unprofessional and I wouldn't suggest living here to anyone. Also the train across the street is very loud and comes by all hours of the night.
