As i am someone who drinks real ale it has to be said that there are not that many places in Hadlow…read morethat do a good job for a good price. Though there are other pubs they are more expensive (with one never having any real ale at all!) The Two Brewers is located in the heart of Hadlow itself. a short walk up form the shops and you can't miss the place! Those that know their real ale pubs and companies will automatically know one thing from the outside- that this is a Harvey's pub. Upon walking through the doors you turn right into what you would think to be a small bar. Quite the opposite in fact! The owners, Chris and Sue Snape will immediately give you a warm welcome (as will Molly, the pub dog!) The pub itself reminds me of the traditional pubs- the way a pub should be. Let's be honest now, most pubs these days have gotten a little carried away with the deco! The Two Brewers however has achieved something that, pub wise at least, is hard to achieve: remain traditonal but still have that clean fresh look to it. The local's are friendly and very easy to talk to and the pub has nice easy atmosphere to go with it. What is suprising is the amount of beers avaliable- a minimum of two beers on pump at any point (all Harveys, naturally!) with many more bottled beers behind the bar. Make no mistake about it, half the village now come here and its no suprise why! the beers average at around a reasonable £2.90 for the average beer. Remember though that prices will vary according to strength (ABV) but that's how most pubs operate. Foodwise The Two Brewers do a good menu at a reasonable price. The menu changes from time to time, of course and the food is cooked well. The best thing to do is ask at the bar of course! All in all The Two Brewers is a well run pub, with Chris and Sue running a tight ship. I can see this being the busiest pub in Hadlow for a long while to come!

What more could you want from your local? Chris and Sue have given us great beer, superb food,…read morewonderful friendly atmosphere, pub games and a liberal attitude towards closing time! And I haven't even mentioned Molly the pub's resident poodle who is just adorable. A perfect place to come and unwind.

Delightful countryside pub on the outskirts of Tonbridge, serving a decent pint of Shepherd Neame…read more Tradtionall pub fayre and a choice of daily changing specials creaty by our chef. Steak & Kidney pudding, Chicken & Bacon Pie, freshly beer battered fish, Liver & Bacon, plus a few more exotic items The large, well maintained garden, with a kids' climbing frame and Pentanque pit tuvked away in the corners. Dogs welcome. Under new ownership and a major tarting up has began, though some of the chintzy dining tables and chairs have yet to make it to the bonfire. Book tables in conservatory overlooking the garden for the best view. Overall, a pleasant country pub, with lots of imaginative twists.

Visited for a Sunday lunch. It was a miserable, wet day and the restaurant was packed with families…read moreof varying sizes, with lots of (well-behaved) kids. Son no.1 had the home made steak burger, which came with a decent salad. Excellent and very herby. No 2 loaded on the carb, opting for the bread basket and enormous chips, the size of Jenga pieces. My belly of pork ws succulent with a crisp crackling served with black pudding wrapped in mash. The other half went for the two meat roast and was demolished with a very decent Rioja. The boys were defeated by the enormous slabs of gooey chocholate brownie cake. Well worth a visit and am looking forward to paying a return visit when the weather improves and we can enjoy the large pretty garden. A la carte, bar and kids' menus.
