CES Exteriors out of Big Lake MN was contracted by Truline/Maverick Homes - Monticello, MN…read more(negative complaints are also posted about this company due to their inferior work) in the fall of 2021 to install LP siding on our home. It was not installed correctly. Damage was brought to the builders attention right away requesting resolution, but both refused any action. In June 2022, we had the experts from LP out asking them to investigate several areas that we brought to the attention of the builder almost a year prior. Upon that investigation, they noted several areas that were not installed correctly, and if not remedied, compromises the integrity of the siding with water infiltration, decay, etc. They provided a detailed report to us along with several pictures outlining these areas. Both CES Exteriors and Truline/Maverick Homes are subpar to say the least. We will be taking legal action against both of these companies. Beware and do your due diligence when selecting contractors. Homeowners do have the right to expect services completed correctly as contracted and paid for. Read the reviews on companies prior to hiring. When there is a negative review, understand that it takes an individual's time to put this information out there hoping that others are not taken advantage of. Hire contractors who take pride in their work. Unfortunately we learned the hard way. There are contractors out there who do a great job. CES Exteriors and Truline/Maverick Homes are not those companies.
