Come here all the time to get piercings and Eddie does a great job I have been coming here for over 11 years and he does a great job & and every time I come he treats everybody like family if you are nervous he helps you get comfortable and make you feel at home piercings are done super fast and clean everything he opens in front of you everything is a dope service! got my nose pierced both sides and my tongue & my nipples & my ears & also got other piercings here, definitely will be getting some more soon

My new tattoo!!

This place is definitely the best place to go for tattoos and piercings!! I had Eddie do my piercing and he was so quick that I didn't even know I was done! Lol And I love my new piercing!! Then had Jerry do my tattoo and wow!! He is a TRUE artist!! I sent him a sketch of what I wanted with a few pictures of my cat and he took my ideas and made them even BETTER!! There was a lot of back and forth, but whenever I added in more ideas he really listened and gave me exactly what I was looking for and more!! The second I left I started getting many compliments on my new tattoo! Trust him and his ideas as he knows what he's doing! Plus he's very fast! Absolutely recommend!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Very polite employees that were working the front. Best body piercer in the area. Very professional.

This review is for Daniel Silva.  I have gotten work done by him on 3 separate occasions & was waiting for our last appointment (appt) to submit a review.  It would have been a 3-4 star review based on the work, but Daniel demonstrates time and time again how wildly UNPROFESSIONAL he is. Here is a condensed list of the pros and cons when working w/ him: Pros: -Composition of tattoos -Artistry- his tattoos can be beautiful, BUT there are now so many artists who specialize in black/grey, dotwork/pointillism AND they are more experienced AND less difficult to work with than Daniel -Pricing (Now a con)- Used to be a good deal: $100 deposit, $100 per hour rate & he said for his 6 hr appointment slots, "if you can put up with me for 4 hours, the last 2 hrs are free."  No more deal, & idk what the deposit is, but the rate is now $200/hr. One time he was nice enough to charge me less because he messed up an appt. Now when he messes up the appt, you don't get the deposit back. Cons: OH LORD so many cons, about him & his business, but let's just stick with the business side: PLACEMENT: idk if he's aware, but tattoos are permanent.  Take some time to make sure it is placed well on the body, this includes checking how the stencil moves with the body once it is placed.  Most artists place the stencil on, then have you relax, tense, move the body to see how it bends as you move it, making sure the tattoo is as stationary as possible, symmetrical, and aligned. I've had artists put the stencil on 8+ times just to ensure it is placed as close to perfect as they can. Daniel puts on the stencil, asks you how it looks & starts tattooing. My unfinished tatt with him is not aligned with my arm or the rest of the work on my arm. UNPROFESSIONAL- no ID/license/age check, no paper work or waiver, constant interruptions from potential/current clients bc he does not have an assistant &/or he only has someone to help him check emails?   The lack of an assistant in the shop or some system to schedule appropriate consultations (like the 17 other artists I have gone to), leads to bad time management, & he places the responsibility on the client. This means lost time for the appt if he shows up late, if he isn't set up for the tatt, if he has shown you the stencil for the 1st time since the consult & it isn't what you discussed, if he is rushing through a tattoo bc the smoke shop he works in is closing, leaving tattoos unfinished, doing subpar tattooing (see pic) bc it is 10:10pm and the smoke shop closes at 10pm & is asking us to leave & you rush through instead of just scheduling another appointment. Lastly on his professionalism, I'm not sure if he has a license from the county health department to tattoo?  I looked for the certification last time I was in there, but I didn't see any certifications for him, only for the piercer.   UNSANITARY- every artist I have been to will change their gloves if they touch something other than the needle, machine, ink, or client.  I have seen him pick up trash and sh*t from the ground, play with his greasy phone to change the music & show me pictures, then go back to touching the client he is working on.  UNAWARE?- he told me a story about how a girl was getting her first tattoo & she fainted, it was her first tattoo & it was a 6 hr appt.  While she was slumping over/falling out of the chair, he dragged the needle across her arm & left a permanent line & dots running down from her forearm to her hand.   Each time I have gotten work done or accompanied friends, the artist CHECKS IN WITH THEIR CLIENT, especially if it is their first tattoo.  FOR SIX HOURS.  You should maybe check in & see if they are doing ok, do they need a break, water, a snack. ARE THEY FAINTING? He also had a friend come in one time while he was working on me & they were giggling about vape pens, got distracted then knocked the entire tray over, spilling ink on himself, his friend & all over my arm.   EGO OVER CLIENTS:  My friend really liked his work & made an appt with him. I warned her that he is EXTREMELY frustrating to work with. I said if she could deal with how unprofessional he is, the work is worth it. You can see how their exchange went in another review. They had a disagreement about the design that escalated, he got upset with her & canceled my appt. He canceled my appt by messaging my friend, another client, telling her to tell me not to come. We in middle school? HE DIDN'T EVEN DIRECTLY TELL ME MY APPOINTMENT IS CANCELED (see pic).  What if I didn't get the message? I don't live in the area, I work as a program supervisor for autistic kids & my schedule is packed.  I don't have the luxury of driving all the way down to Gilroy in traffic JUST TO FIND OUT MY APPT IS CANCELED. All in all, not a good artist to work with, not a good business. Sad.

I had this tattoo date for three months. ONE HOUR BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, as I'm driving from fucking Oakland, his lazy ass texts me the designs he drew and says that if I don't like it we'll have to reschedule for December (6 months later). That's some unprofessional bullshit right there - not the clients fault he overbooks and doesn't have time to properly work with the client. Why am I getting punished because I don't like what he drew? What a narcissist. I ended up rescheduling for December because the design wasn't what I wanted (and I didn't want to loose my deposit). He agreed to reschedule. Then he emails me after I left and tells me to put another deposit down for wasting HIS time. Unbelievable. Disrespectful, condescending little boy. Just look at how this "professional" emails (if you can get passed the grammar and spelling errors, that is).

Gotten two tattoos in a one month span from Jerry. One of the best guys I've had the chance to meet. He did a nice original piece on my leg and another one on my inner bicep all while keeping a good conversation going. I also had my mom go to him for hers and she's in love with her own.

I've had a challenging medical year so the retainers have had to go in a few times and have also been bumped out "a few times" too. I thought my vertical rook-conch industrial was done for this time I woke up from septorhino revision and the first thing I noticed is my ear hurts like hell lol. Can barely talk. Nose is still in a cast and broken. I knew where to go. I came in looking like a monster but didn't feel judged here. Adam has always done a great job, but these were Winter's days. They clearly hold high standards for all their piercers very gentle with my ear and let me know what's going on no jump scares and they give honest assessment of the piercing. They saved it. They really saved my industrial. This one looked crazy angry I was so sure it was done for and salvaging whatever I could would be painful, but I didn't even feel a pinch. Great job! I can't wait for these to heal so I can get more :) and I will definitely trust them with the next set of spicy piercings I have planned. Also got a new chain and a dangling piece was really hoping to get hoops but they aren't ready yet and I trust their good judgement. Very pretty I'm so happy they had it in stock. Thanks Winter and Adam!! :) :) :)

She told me how amazing, professional, and clean her piercer was. She also told me that Make Me Holey uses hypoallergenic materials, which had been a concern for me because several of my older piercings had rejected during the healing process, and I attributed that to materials. Based on my wife's recommendation, I scheduled an appointment to get my septum pierced, on a whim basically. I showed up, got pierced, and left - super quick and clean. That was more than a year ago, and I still love my septum piercing! It miraculously seemed to heal instantaneously, and the size they recommended perfectly suits my nose shape (in my opinion). I've had this one for over 3 years now and I was determined to keep it if possible. The staff here are super friendly and nonjudgmental, it truly felt like a safe space because I came in feeling a little embarrassed at how gross my piercing had gotten. Nessa was FANTASTIC, her level of care is above and beyond and she made sure I was comfortable while she pushed the earring back through my cartilage. Even afterwards, she spent a lot of time answering all my questions and giving me overall great advice on how to care for my cartilage piercing. They also have a stunning jewelry selection up front. I've seen some reviews about them being expensive, but these are handmade with premium materials and sourced from local jewelers, not mass produced. I'm in love with this little gold fan I found there. Overall I'm definitely going to come back when my ear is back to normal, hopefully I'll see Nessa for a new piercing next time. :)

They were both very courteous and helpful - answered all the questions I had about the different types of earrings, lobe piercing & cartilege piercings. One of the reasons I picked this place was because they had numbing cream available! They applied numbing cream on my daughter and as we waited, I was inspired to also get a cartilage piercing for myself. Selena was patient, showing us where the earring placement would be and the entire process was fast and easy. No tears were shed (for my daughter & myself) and they gave us a post piercing kit. We walked out super happy with our new piercings. Highly recommend anyone looking for piercings! They were sanitary, safe and experienced so I feel confident knowing my piercings will last long without infection with proper care.

Although we were a bit nervous for the piercing, Razzberry Lips' staff was excellent with their explanations and handling our young one throughout the entire process. They provided the numbing cream and then walked us through step by step and our little girl soon had her ears pierced without too much fuss. It is located within the building across from Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Co. If you are arriving near opening, you may need to call to have them let you in. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone considering ear piercing and specifically for young ones! So much so, we told our friends who got their daughter's ear pierced the very next weekend!

I have a good amount of experience with jewelry and I told her she had a couple options since it was starting to swell. Wait and let it close or try to find the hole. Well no luck and we both agreed to have a piercer put it in or repierce it for her. She called this place and the lady told her to come in at ten tomorrow ok yay great. So today rolls around and again this is not my experience this is what she's talked to me about. Not only did the lady who helped her ruin her jewelry, she also just popped the jewelry back in. The piercing was closed on the inside. There should have been no reason for the piercer to basically rip open the skin in her nose. She should've told her after trying a bit to wait for it to heal and come back and get it repierced.. I think the worst part about it was she charged her $30. I understand if she had gotten it repierced with a needle or gave her new jewelry. But she fucked my cousins piercing up. So thank you and I hope to hear from you guys soon!!!!

I hate giving negative reviews but I have to on this one. Bare with me it's long. My friend called…read moreyesterday and made me an appointment for today with Sarbeth to get my septum pierced. (She didn't introduce herself but we got her name when making the appointment) When I walked in with my friend the woman at the front didn't even look up from her phone and asked if we were her appointment for the piercing. Before even greeting us or anything she gave me the form and told me to pay then, I found that odd cause I thought I'd pay after. Whatever. $120 cash for septum piercing and jewelry. Lots of cheaper places in the area but I figured maybe it's higher quality here? Well after I sign the form we go into the back room and someone is being tattooed a few feet away from the chair I got pierced in and the music was SO loud I couldn't even hear what the lady was trying to tell me. She quickly got to the point and put the clamp on my nose and didn't check placement or anything before just going for it. She placed the jewelry and was telling me "it looks crooked cause you have a small nose, it's just the jewelry though" ok ya that's really reassuring. I figured she'd give me the mirror to look at it but instead she kept yanking at it and pulling on my brand new piercing. Fuckin ouch. I knew something was wrong at this point. She asked me if I wanted smaller jewelry since it "looked crooked" and I told her "I don't know you still haven't shown me" like she was trying to keep me from seeing it. Finally after back and forth a few times she handed me the mirror. IT WAS SO CROOKED!! I wanted to cry. I told her to take it out and got my money back but even after that she was trying to tell my friend to tell me "next time she needs smaller jewelry" ...smaller jewelry DOES NOT fix a CROOKED piercing. Now I have to wait a few months for these holes to heal before I can try again at another place. I really really do not recommend. Save money or spend it elsewhere.

I loved her work and she was a very pleasant person. 4 years later I came back for another one and had a completely different experience. Struggled to make a consult appointment online and finally had to go in and just ask. After the consult I paid the deposit and we scheduled the appointment. She cancelled on me day of (stuff happens, I wasn't mad) and we rescheduled. The night before the next appointment I was contacted saying it was booked wrong and it couldn't be done. Instead of getting another appointment I was told they were waiting for someone else to confirm then would reach out by end of day. 2 days later I got nothing so I reached out and was told the next available was a month away but they were seeing if they could get me in sooner. I said I wasn't in a hurry and would just feel better with something on schedule because I already paid the deposit. I did not get a response. 2 weeks went by and I decided to go somewhere else because I felt like she wasn't interested. I texted this and was told my appointment was scheduled (never had a confirmation of anything so I never would have known if I didn't text). I was told the deposit was non refundable because of the work she already put in but I was never sent anything so I have no idea if she even drew something or not. When I responded with these points I got radio silence. It's really unfortunate because I was really looking forward to working with her again. I'm not sure what changed but it looks like I'm not the only one who has run into this issue. For reference, when I started to feel unsure about this after the second cancelation and the lack of communication, I went to another shop for a consult. The guy saw me, drew me something and sent it within a day! At least if I didn't move forward with him I have some proof that he actually worked on it. Just food for thought.
