Normally attended San Andres in Payson but because it's a small church I attended St Francis on holidays and their Mass times worked better. Read the post from the California transplant and attended that Mass. Agree the priest had a hard message for some to accept. Church is not all milk and honey, think proverbs 25:27 is relevant here. Also suggest the parable of the sower.

I started with the Good Friday service, which was fine. But I noticed the priest expressed an edge of anger in the homily which was not pleasing. Then I attended the Easter mass. OMG. The priest shouted loudly and angrily throughout the homily. Disgusting. This kind of anger is out of place anywhere, but particularly Easter Sunday. Seriously. What is there to be angry about on Easter? Yet the congregants just sat there and took it. I walked out in the middle of the homily, because I did not go to Easter mass to be shouted at. I don't tolerate being shouted at by anybody, let alone this little wretch of a priest. Those Catholics at the St. Assisi church in Orem are willing participants in their own abuse.

REVIEW: This is a Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a sacred building, not a church or ward building that is open on Sundays for services. It is a remarkable, historical, breathtaking landmark, and the property is open to visitors. I highly recommend a visit here to experience the calming spirit that abounds, even on the Temple grounds. Background data: This Temple was announced in 2017, and the ground was broken in 2019. The Temple was dedicated on 8/13/23. Before the dedication, this Temple and others are open to the public for touring and viewing. Once dedicated, however, it is no longer open to the public. Members attend this Temple with a recommendation after having completed an interview process. I highly recommend a visit here to see this architectural and historical landmark.
