This happened on a…read moreSunday night and after frantically calling HVAC companies, with no immediate availability for that night or in the morning, I reluctantly called Lee's. They had someone available and at my door by 9am the next day. Gabriel Gonzalez was the technician and he was fast, friendly, and diagnosed my issue quickly. My unit was only 7-years old, but capacitor had gone out. Gabriel stated usually the capacitor goes out due to power surges or high amps being sent to the capacitor. Based on the age of the unit (2019 being relatively new) he suggested a servicing in the near future for a full diagnostic to determine if there's an bigger issue. Since newer units don't normally need to replace the capacitors. He also cleaned my entire AC unit and stated everything looked and sounded great. Overall great experience and I highly suggest using Lee's!

We contacted Comfort Now and were able to easily use their online chat. Once we officially set up the authorization, we were contacted and on our way to having someone show up to our house. Daniel showed up, masked up and he went to work on our unit. Daniel and Israel fixed our safety switch that was installed improperly by the previous company that installed our new unit. Israel also found that our return was not efficient enough for the size of our AC unit and Daniel went over the options to remedy the situation and financing. We are very happy with the quality of service and attention to detail that Daniel and Israel took in servicing our unit. We decided to sign up for their Comfort Care program to have our AC serviced annually and save on parts and services. We discovered a small leak in the wall behind our tankless water heater and like any new homeowner, freaked out. We called PR Plumbing and they told they send out someone out between 4 and 6 PM. At 4:10, Eric showed up and within minutes, he was 90% sure what the issue was. Turns out he was spot on and fixed the issue within a few hours. The issue? - When installing tankless water heaters into new builds, sometimes the plumbers do not fully clamp the copper piping to the PVC pipe tight enough causing a very very slow leaks. Over time and use it gets worse. When I asked how long he thought this had been leaking for he said, "probably shortly after the completion of the home in 2019" Say what?! Luckily we were home when the leak really gave away. Can you imagine if we went on vacation during the Christmas holiday? PR plumbing charges about $135 an hour, which includes labor, but not parts needed. I thought that was a pretty stellar rate! All together we were just under $300 total for the job.

Their communication and reviews had me sold. Then when they installed the equipment it didn't match what we paid for. The error was recognized by me and they offered me an extended warranty as a result. Due to their great service during this time I felt like they resolved my issue. There were also hiccups with the air unit that they fixed. Fast forward to 2026 when we needed a new water heater. We received several quotes and this one was comparable. They installed it a few days later and all appeared well. We paid $575 for the permit process to Balanced Comfort. They said we would get the inspection within 1-2 weeks. I called three different times and was told they did the paperwork, and lastly to call the city myself. When I called the city they said it had never been filed. I had to call Balanced Comfort again and again to get the plumbing manager to call me back. When he did it's clear he doesn't have customer service training. He's rude and was like oh well it's filed now. It took six weeks total and action on my part or it may never have been completed, a paid service. Next up the inspection. spoiler alert! We didn't pass. The inspector was clear they cut corners and should have known better. He advised I call the company and let them know. When I did, the plumbing manager was beyond rude to me and said "these things happen".... I will never give them my business again.
