So happy that this place was available & conveniently located in the hotel AND they had cold brew, which was decently priced. The line can get long since it's the only coffee place but their cold brew with sugar free caramel syrup was delicious. Ambience is nice as well. This is a nice Lil coffee shop to grab a hot brew and/or a quick bite. Stagg is friendly and helpful. I popped in during my stay to grab a bite and something refreshing. Opted for the iced green tea and mushrooms and onion panini. Green tea was great and the panini had a lot of flavor. My only gripe was that it wasn't really a panini. Just toasted bread vs pressed bread with a nice crunch on the outside. That was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I would recommend them. I've gone here a few times since I stayed at the Beau Rivage for a week. There's almost always a small line - but it isn't bad. The sticky buns and blueberry danishes are good! I ordered a London Fog (earl grey tea with milk and vanilla) and it was awful -- I don't know if it was the vanilla or the milk they used, but it was the worst tea I've ever had. Their sweet tea tastes good, and is a relatively good price. I also tried their affogato (espresso with gelato) -- it was my first time, and I enjoyed it. The espresso did taste a little burnt though. Average coffee spot with good seating. read more

The Roasted Bean is located in the lobby of the Beau Rivage hotel and casino. Because of this, they KNOW they have a captive audience (so the menu is full of inflated tourist prices) and they don't really have to make that much of an effort to provide good service or craft good coffee. Some items are obviously marked up more than others; $3.75 for a small, mediocre cappuccino is just nuts while $1.25 for a decent shot of espresso is reasonable. There is a huge display case with yummy looking baked goods that tempted me but I was able to resist and just went for the coffee instead. My espresso was much better than I expected and not bitter (thankfully better than the awful swill they serve at Starbucks), and the cappuccino was good enough but still lacking (the teeny amount of foam was pathetic, a sign of an unskilled barista). The major problem with this place is that the service is irritatingly S-L-O-W. There were two people -- TWO -- ahead of us in line and I swear it took nearly 20 minutes for the folks behind the counter to take orders and prepare the drinks. I think the "baristas" had one-track minds so they were unable to multitask, which resulted in long waits for your order. read more

The Roasted Bean is located inside of the Beau Rivage resort. It's the only true coffee shop that I know of or found in the resort. It's got a pretty wide variety of coffees and teas. And during my time at the Beau, the quality and service were consistent. They have two lines: one for you standard coffee drinkers and one for everyone else.The line can be long which makes sense since there are no other coffee joints in the area. Fortunately it moves quickly, or moves as quickly as the 90 year old at the Beau can move. The staff was nothing but friendly my entire stay and visit. I had the worst Saturday morning. All I wanted to do was take a walk outside in the freezing cold air with 2 matching, corrected footed tennis shoes. The universe, however, had other plans. Two left non matching shoes plans to be precise. After the universe shit in my cornflakes, I REALLY needed a pick me up. Thankfully at the Roasted Bean, that pick me up came with Frangelico and Irish Cream. That Nutty Irishman gave me life and the ability to not be an asshole for the rest of the day. For that, I am eternally grateful. The next morning, I was hungover. Not deadly, but also not pleasant in the least. Damn sports book. All I wanted was the big ass biscuit I saw the day before. If you don't want to head across the street to the awesome Waffle House, this place is the best spot at the Beau for coffee and a quick breakfast. I enjoyed their iced and hot coffee and I saw someone else buy 5 boxes of their hot coffee to take home so that's quite the endorsement. Everything was fresh here and the yogurt parfait was large and quite filling. I also tried the blueberry muffin one morning and it was tasty and filling. This is a really nice coffee shop. We noticed it within the shops at the Beau Rivage Hotel. Visiting Biloxi for one day during the Cruising the Coast. Their house Coffee is good and smoothies are good too. Here goes the "meh" part. No one seams happy there. This morning (7ish) not 1 smile or hi. Despite the order being smalls when I verbally said large. I still over looked that. No biggie. They are a very busy crew with lots of customers. We realized no one wanted to get out of bed that early, plus our drive was almost 6 hours away. Another person not at cash register asks for the order looking down (no eye contact) and walks away while you are giving him the rest of the order. No time for questions or getting them to explain a menu item. Not gonna happen. I am not a Cappuccino or espresso drinker so I can only review the regular coffee. You have the choice of Large or small size and your choice of raw sugar, artificial sweeteners or white sugar. Cream options are whole mile, half n half or skim milk. I did try some of the pastries which you can have heated. Coffee was around 3.95 for a large cup or you can use your M Life Rewards card points. Unlimited re-fills are available all day free with proof of purchase. The place I have to stop by when I'm at the Beau Rivage. My boyfriend and I usually stop by for some coffee and hot chocolate. We skipped on the desserts in the case this time however. We were so full from dinner but couldn't pass up a beverage. In my opinion, it's a bit overpriced for hot chocolate among other things. However, the abundant scoops of mini marshmallows in the hot chocolate enough to when the bf over. I get my usual caramel sunrise frap no whip cream. It was just okay this time but a bit bland for my taste. It's not a bad atmosphere since there's usually guest from the hotel around. They have little knick knacks like mugs and coffee beans for sale. It's a bit tempting while you're standing in line. I always find myself looking at the cute tea cup and spoon set. The price however is not as appealing for me. So if you're a coffee junky it wouldn't hurt to stop by and pick up a nice hot/cold cup of coffee or hot chocolate. read more
