To whomever reads this beware. Today I got a phone call…read morefrom live oak pest control a woman named Dotti was the person on the call. Dotti called and asked me why I was not going to receive service this month. I told her that my FL home was a vacation property and I would not be there every month. She took upset with this and proceeded to tell me and pressure me into giving her a better answer as to why I wouldn't pay for a service even if I'm not physically there. So I did my best to re explain and she proceeded to get aggressive with her up selling by trying to offer me a quarterly or every two month plan. What I liked about live oak pest control for the first year of using them was I had the power in the beginning to pick and choose my appointments and if I did not want service they send you a text with the option yes or no. It was simple and then they had to mess it all up and loose a customer (myself) Due to poor man power and bad leadership. If your company doesn't want to take the money that I give and you have to try to use a aggressive tactic to try to shame me so I buy more of your services or just trusting people to show up at my house when I'm not there is not how I conduct business.....To wrap all of this up basically if you use live oak pest control and your not a "florida good boy " or basically someone established and living there full time they will try to run you for your money and then make it seem like your the problem when you don't comply. *^( florida good boy meaning the people they sent to my house all the time was a redneck person that was expecting me to be red neck or country too then when they find out your not like them they treat you differently and the demeanor in conversation is greatly shifted and a lot of god talk basically nothing to do with pest control ) this was my experience I hope others have had better.

My daughter called to set up an appointment and immediately without even seeing the property they…read morescheduled a clean out. Clean outs are only for major issues, not for the start of service. I called them back and told them I would not be needing a cleanout just standard services like a quarterly program, they then informed me that their tech will make that determination and again I said no they will not I am former pest control and I know the process. Well then the tech shows up to my house with a trainee, not even the tech that was supposed to be there and again told me very rudely that it is part of their process and that they will determine if I get a cleanout and what services I will be receiving. I told them to get off my property and that is not how you do business. As a business owner of many years I was amazed at the lack of professionalism.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!…read more This was probably one of the worst and unprofessional situations I've ever dealt with a company. We called Paul's to come out and perform pest control services on our house and property. First, I called and spoke to someone after trying to call maybe three or four times on different days and spoke to a woman and she asked me a few questions. They ask you about where you want services, square footage of the home, and if there were any current problems we were having in the home that they would have to treat right away. So I answered those questions and those were the only questions they had. I was upfront with her about a current issue we were having with a certain bug and all she replied with was that she would let the guy know. No explanation of any type of bugs, or specialty circumstances that would be more cost or anything like that. She explained to me it would be $150 for the initial treatment and the inspection and then it would be $40 a month going forward. I said send over the contract and she emailed it. We signed the contract And sent it back to them. After they get the signed contract the guy calls you to set up the initial treatment and inspection. They charged our account $150. The gentleman comes out to do the inspection and seemed very knowledgeable. We had a great conversation. We got talking about the house and issues we were worried about having in the future and what their services would provide. Just a reminder, we've already paid the 150 and we've already signed a CONTRACT with them. After he did his inspection, he explained that due to the number of rooms, areas bugs could get in, and the current issue we were having that the cost would not be honored for the $150. I explained to him none of this was brought to my attention. He told me straight from the company's mouth that they're supposed to tell you these things over the phone and the calls are recorded. So he said he was going to go back and talk to his manager and come back in and let me know. Now I'm frustrated because he's trying to explain that the money we paid and the contract we signed was not going to be honored. He comes back in and I'm expecting either a slight increase or him to say we're going to go ahead and move forward with what we agreed on since you signed a contract and the agreement with our company. I was shocked when he came back inside and said again, due to the number of rooms, the current issues we were having, and the areas bugs could get in, the price would be a lot higher. He even told me I should go with another company and said he would charge me around $500.00. When I explained that none of this was told to me and I signed a contract and agreement with their company and they gave me the price with my signature based on the information they required, all he could say was "I understand". I honestly don't know how they have any customers. Good luck, please stay away from them and save you some money and headache.

Paid hundreds of dollars to exterminate attic rats. Their 'treatment' went on TWO YEARS with NO…read moreRESULTS. Fired them, went on Amazon, found a poison and the rats were gone in 10 days!!! Then.... got a bill for their termite 'service' at my store. Though they hadn't shown up and placed new traps for over a year, THEY CHARGED ME FOR A YEAR! These people are inept.
