If not for Omro Animal Hospital's negligence, my cat Sylvester would still be alive today…read more He wasn't just one of my friends. He was one of my tethers, When things got the hardest for me, and I wished I could stop living, I could tell myself "I need to stick around. Sylvester needs me." He was such a great cat. And I was his best friend. He was six years old. If I could sue a vet for malpractice, I would. I hold Dr. Marx at Omro Animal Hospital personally responsible for this tragic loss. No place calling itself a "Hospital" should be closed on weekends or holidays, either. I extend further blame to every veterinarian in my area for not being around to help on Memorial Day. See less

I don't understand the complaints about the staff/doctor being unfriendly or rude. I do not get a friendly vibe from any of the reception staff. Everyone, including, Dr Mott, is all business. They don't smile or exchange the smallest pleasantries. This has been my experience whether I have brought one cat in a carrier or three dogs to one appointment. (Sorry, I won't do that again.) But the all business approach leaves me feeling cold and uncared for. It does make me wonder if I am at the right place.

They are excellent with animals, very kind. friendly, patient and conscientious, efficient, work great as a team, hard-working and yet easy going, do beautiful work on the grooming projects I've seen, and they have great relationships with both 2 legged and 4 legged customers. My dog LOVES to come here, it's a treat for him. And I love to go there too. I've never seen an unhappy customer there. The vibe is fabulous and the prices are great. I don't think there is a better place to take your pet for grooming this side of heaven, and now I guess they also clean teeth. I can't recommend them enough. I'm so grateful they are in my life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (Thanks guys for taking such great care of me and my dog!)

I made a reservation over Christmas and confirmed the reservation with the new owner (via email) in early March. Since I noticed a few of my dog's shots were not up to date, I made a veterinary appointment two days prior to my dog's boarding with Chelstars and got his shots up to date. When my wife arrived at Chelstars, three hours before our plane was to leave, the dog was denied entry since the shots happened less than two weeks ago. My wife was told that this rule was posted on the website (a picture of the website is attached). We were successful in having to find an alternative placement in less than an hour. Since I have had a four year relationship with the facility, I called the owner about future boarding. This is when Emi Jo mentioned my wife was swearing at the employees. While my wife was probably frustrated, she does not swear (and almost never loses her temper). My wife also vehemently denies it. I would bet my life on the words of my wife. Granted, I may have sworn and lost my temper, but... I was not there. We will not be returning! I will pay extra money to work with a facility that knows how to tell the truth about a website and doesn't make up fairy tales.
